True to its name, Panini America’s upcoming 2011-12 Rookie Anthology Hockey product pays tribute to this season’s most spectacular NHL rookie performers with an updated and compelling combination of memorabilia, autographs, fresh designs and collectibility.
Clearly, if there were a Calder Trophy awarded for first-year hockey products, the mid-June release of 2011-12 Rookie Anthology would be a front-runner. And you’re about to see why.

Rookie Anthology provides updated Rookie Cards from Panini America’s 2011-12 NHL roster of products (including new Crown Royale Rookie Silhouettes and Limited Phenoms) featuring players who either hadn’t skated at the time of the original product’s release or who were pulled at the time to avoid being redemptions.
Each five-card, 10-pack box of 2011-12 Rookie Anthology will deliver one Rookie Treasures dual-memorabilia autographed RC (numbered to 499, 199 or 99), one additional autograph card and two memorabilia cards. Meanwhile, each 12-box case should yield one Luxury Suite RC numbered to 99, two to three Limited Phenoms autographed RCs, one autographed Ice Breaker parallel and one of the following (either a Rookie Silhouette numbered to 99, a Prime Rookie Silhouette numbered to 25 or a Rookie Treasures Patch numbered to 15).
Stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for additional information. But until then, enjoy the following sneak peek.

  1. Tracy It looks like an amazing product i’m looking forward to it coming out. are you able to give me a price on this product thx

  2. Interesting concept… is the fact that Claude Giroux is shown in the samples mean that players that were rookies in years prior to this one will also be in this set?

  3. Hagelin……yeah Baby…now ya talkin ! Hopefully you can get Kreider in there too ! Great job !

  4. I love this idea. Surprised to see Luxury Suite up there. I was under the impression that we wouldn’t be seeing LS this year. Is this going to be the only way to get LS rookies?

  5. Those are some pretty clean looking cards. I really like that crown rookie auto. Always enjoy a different look than the typical player on a solid background.

  6. Will there be any redemptions in this product or will all cards be in hand for the packout upon release? I ask this as many folks are still waiting on redemptions from previous hockey
    products.

  7. When are you releasing the details regarding the 2012 Toronto Fall Expo wrapper redemption program? Will it just be hockey again, or are leaving out us football, basketball, and baseball collectors again? Just trying to figure out if it is worth a visit. Thanks

      1. Thanks for the update, but I have not seen any information yet. Where would I find it?
I have to say though that I am disappointed Basketball is being overlooked again. We have more than a few collectors up here and could certainly use the support, especially given the lack of product this shortened season.
