Panini America Readies Historic Derek Jeter Buy-Back Autographs for Future Releases

Leave it to iconic New York Yankees captain Derek Jeter to make history -- again. For the first time ever, one of the most beloved players in the storied history of pinstripes will have autographs in Panini America products beginning with the release of 2014 Classics Baseball on November 19. The autographs, buy-backs of original Donruss-branded cards dating back to 1999, were completed in a signing conducted with and authenticated by Steiner Sports.

Leave it to iconic New York Yankees captain Derek Jeter to make history — again. For the first time ever, one of the most beloved players in the storied history of pinstripes will have autographs in Panini America products beginning with the release of 2014 Classics Baseball on November 19. The autographs, buy-backs of original Donruss-branded cards dating back to 1999, were completed in a signing conducted with and authenticated by Steiner Sports.

The first cards — an extremely limited number of hard-signed original buy-backs from 2001 Classics Baseball and 2002 Classics Baseball — will be randomly inserted into 2014 Classics Baseball. Other buy-backs — including original cards from Studio, Certified, Diamond Kings, Limited, Absolute and more — will follow in 2015.

Jeter’s inclusion in upcoming Panini America products promises to deliver added levels of excitement and value while honoring one of the greatest players in Yankees history.   1. Great idea to bring back some of the best sets of year’s past with awesome on card autographs, I’m sure many Jeter collectors are seeing this gallery and thinking “upgrade!” Thanks Tracy!

  2. Great job on ALL of these. When I was able to work I bought all of these sets,and never landed a Jeter Auto anything 🙂 That’s one that has eluded me 🙂 Nice job Panini 🙂

  3. I pulled a Derek Jeter 1 of 1 on card auto its pictured above the 28th card I wonder what its worth. it is that card the signature matches up exactly in picture above 2004 donruss
