For three action-packed days inside Toronto’s International Centre last weekend, Panini America engaged fans and collectors as only it can during the 2014 Toronto Spring Expo. From the time the doors opened Friday afternoon until they closed for business Sunday evening, Panini America officials directed the most must-see booth at the show, brandishing the company’s unrivaled arsenal of customer service, customer interaction and fun.
To be sure, the experience — which included booth appearances from Sean Monahan and Ryan Strome, Panini America’s trademark wrapper-redemption program, Box Wars and the live Redemption Trade-Up Program — generated more loyal Panini America collector north of the border. Rest assured that all of them are already anxiously awaiting the next opportunity.

In fact, it’s likely that Monahan said it best with one simple Tweet Friday afternoon:

“Spring or fall, the Toronto Expo is one of the most successful and rewarding shows we do every year,” said Tim Franz, Panini America’s Director of Sales. “Canadian collectors are so passionate and so loyal and the opportunity to interact with them on a meaningful basis for three straight days is a big thrill for me. They also love Panini America products from other sports — and they prove it every time we come here by consuming every last wrapper-redemption pack we make.”
On Friday, Panini America officials hosted Calgary Flames rookie sensation Sean Monahan in the company booth for a signing session. New York Islanders young star Ryan Strome followed suit Saturday afternoon. Before, in between and after those packed appearances, the Panini America booth remained buzzing with Box Wars, long-but-expeditious lines for the Cracked Ice-appeal of this year’s wrapper-redemption set, and the Redemption Trade-Up program.
Panini America Customer Service Manager David Sharp personally exchanged more than 400 outstanding redemption cards in less than three full days at the 2014 Toronto Spring Expo.
“In many ways, this was a record show for the Redemption Trade-Up Program,” Sharp says. “That speaks as much about the passion of the collectors up there as it does to the effectiveness  of the program. Judging by the large number of smiling faces I saw over two and a half days, we took care of a lot of collectors last weekend. We were able to satisfy a lot of collectors by exchanging their redemptions as well as put collectors’ minds at ease to assure them that we will continue to fulfill all current and future hockey redemptions.”

  1. It was a great 3 days of fun, excitement and ripping with the gang from Panini America. It’s something I as a collector look forward to each and every expo. Y’all are top notch and I will miss the hockey products once the license expires. I have no doubt you’ll figure something out with that! You guys deliver time and time again, always there to take care of us collectors. You make the ‘fan’ experience so great for the young and old. Customer service is top notch. Always approachable. Makes the whole interaction that much better. A BIG Thank You and shout out has to go out in no particular order to Dave Sharp, Tim Franz and Karvin Cheung (PS we missed you Scotty P). It was great seeing y’all and I for one appreciate you representing and bringing it each and every expo. Thanks again fellas!!!

  2. Glad you guys had fun, sorry I couldn’t make it out to see you but looks like everyone had a blast.

  3. Man, I wish I could have been there. 🙁
Anyways, If you have any of the Expo packs left, maybe give some away this weekend (maybe include Friday’s games too) during the NHL games so that people who couldn’t make it might be able to score a pack or two. 😉 #PaniniWildCard

  4. My son and I had a great time at the both with the wrapper redemption program. I would like to thank the guy for everything they did to make this event memerable for my son. He opend a box of Select at the both and recieved his 10 packs. When he opened them he had no luck pulling a auto. When the guys noticed this they proceeded to open extra packs for him untill he got a auto, they are the best. We even had some time to joke around. He explained to me that it is not the fact that Tracey is not allowed out of the country but the fact that you guys do so may shows at once. I hope that you will come up one time. Once again please thank the guys for everthing they did of my son at the show. I t just goes to show that Panini will you that extra step to make a kids day> Great customer service!!!
