Panini America officials are proud to announce  that the company will once again conduct its Live Redemption Trade-Up program on location during next week’s 2014 National Sports Collectors Convention in Cleveland.

The unique initiative will be conducted live at the Panini America booth and will afford those collectors in attendance holding multiple outstanding redemption cards FOUR MONTHS OR OLDER AND ALREADY PENDING IN THE PANINI AMERICA REDEMPTION SYSTEM the opportunity to trade them in for a card or cards of higher value.

For example, a collector holding four outstanding redemption cards with a combined Beckett value of $80 will have the chance to trade-up those four cards for one $100 card via a carefully constructed grab-bag system. The Panini America Customer Service team has assigned values to replacement stock and will offer grab bags containing one autograph or memorabilia card or a box of product at the $50, $100, $150 and $200 levels.

Each grab bag will offer minimum values at the depicted levels but many will deliver more than the listed value. Some $50 grab bags will contain cards valued at as much as $80; $100 grab bags will contain cards valued at as much as $140, $150 grab bags will contain cards valued as much as $180, and $200 grab bags will contain cards valued at as much as $250. Each grab bag may also include live onsite redemption cards good for boxes of product.

The Panini America Redemption Trade-Up program will be separated by sport, and collectors will get to choose what sport they select as a replacement.

In order to help expedite the process, collectors participating in the Panini America Redemption Trade-Up program are encouraged to bring with them print outs from the Panini America Website of the outstanding redemptions they want to have replaced at the National. A Customer Service team member onsite will verify the outstanding redemptions as well as their values before completing the replacement process.

Each redemption card being swapped out must be a minimum of four months old and already pending in the Panini America online redemption system; collectors may swap out up to $400 in value at the show while supplies last. Collectors also will be required to sign a waiver that states they agree to the random pulled replacement.

The Panini America Redemption Trade-Up program will begin Wednesday, July 30. Stay tuned to The Knight’s LanceFacebook and Twitter for additional details and times. The Redemption Trade-Up program can also be used for live replacements on redemption cards pulled during the Panini America wrapper-redemption program and Box Wars.

  1. Why are the people in Cleveland and the surrounding area the only ones givin this opportunity? What about people in Houston, Miami, Sacramento? You have customers all around the world!

  2. Yes why you can do that everytime. I´m from germany and have no chance to go to the nationals in Cleveland.
I´m still waiting for some cards over 2 years.

  3. Agreed, 11 of my 26 outstanding redemptions are over 4 months old including a Kevin Durant auto that was submitted on Jan 10. According to the weekly redemption lists, Durant has signed twice during that time but no card for me. It is very frustrating.

  4. Yes, its very annoying that you can offer something like this to only a select few peoples. I have cards that I have been waiting on sense 2012. I love your cards and I love collecting cards but there are some aspects of the hobby that really annoy me and this is the main one.

  5. Awesome! I have a couple redemptions I have been waiting on forever that I don’t really care about, so I’m trading them in for sure! What if the Beckett value is under $50? Will it be rounded up? Can’t wait for the show!

  6. Good to see people will have an opportunity to clear their queue some, I hope this develops alongside the Panini Rewards program going forward to create a system where everyone can get their valued trading cards in hand as quickly as possible. Thanks Tracy!

    1. I like the idea of perhaps being able to exchange an outstanding redemption for something from the rewards program. I think this was talked about months ago as perhaps a “phase 2” part of the rewards program rollout, but I am not sure.

  7. Does 4 months old and already pending mean it needs to be pending for 4 months already, or from a product more than 4 months old and then is already pending in the system?

Would products almost a year old but only have been pending in the system for 2 months count?

  8. Hi

For the redemption card trade up, do we have to be there at Cleveland???

    Or

Can we also call panini phone number and trade are redemption cards?? As like the trade up

    Thanks please reply back
