Panini America Shares Early Details on 2014 National Sports Collectors Convention Set

With Friday's Fourth of July holiday now officially behind us, we're ready to kick off the countdown to the manifold majesty that is Panini America's presence at the 2014 National Sports Collectors Convention in Cleveland. It should go without saying that Panini America is feverishly planning to steal the show once again this year. From an industry-leading wrapper redemption program to case breaks and player appearances at the company booth to that major attraction known as the Panini VIP Party, there's a lot to preview between now and late July.

With Friday’s Fourth of July holiday now officially behind us, we’re ready to kick off the countdown to the manifold majesty that is Panini America’s presence at the 2014 National Sports Collectors Convention in Cleveland. It should go without saying that Panini America is feverishly planning to steal the show once again this year. From an industry-leading wrapper redemption program to case breaks and player appearances at the company booth to Panini Authentic to that major attraction known as the Panini VIP Party, there’s a lot to preview between now and late July.

Today, we’re offering a first look at the multisport base and Rookie Card sets for the Panini America wrapper-redemption program. The rookies shown below will be numbered 499. The other 10 cards that complete the 60-card base set will be 10 additional Memorabilia Rookie Cards numbered to 99. We’ll show those off in the coming days.   1. So it looks like this is the first set (promotional) to be issued with no NHLers. I will continue to say it, and I don’t care how many times I’ve already said it.- The NHL and especially the PA made a huge mistake.
