Panini America’s Black Friday Contest: Tell Us What Cards You’re Most Thankful For

As the hype surrounding the groundbreaking Panini America Black Friday promotion continued on a buzz-generating crescendo this week, one of the prevailing questions from readers of The Knight's Lance has been: "How can we win some of those sweet Black Friday cards?" Well, you're about to find out.

As the hype surrounding the groundbreaking Panini America Black Friday promotion continued on a buzz-generating crescendo this week, one of the prevailing questions from readers of The Knight’s Lance has been: “How can we win some of those sweet Black Friday cards?” Well, you’re about to find out.

In fact, we’re not going to give you just one way to win on this splendid Thanksgiving day. We’re going to give you two (one you can enter here, and the other you can enter on our Facebook page), both asking a simple question of our own: “What Panini America card in your collection are you most thankful for?”

Below, you’ll find a gallery of 20 or so cool cards from the special Panini America Black Friday set. Which one would you be most thankful to add to your collection? Simply tell us with a comment on that particular card in the gallery and you just might win it. To get things started, I’ve commented on the card I’d be most thankful to win — unfortunately, I’m not eligible. That’s your first way to win.

Now, onto the Panini America Facebook portion of our contest. Simply post an image of the one Panini America card in your collection your most thankful for on our Facebook page. Again, to get things started, I’ve posted my selection on our Facebook page — again, I’m not eligible to win. All posts here on The Knight’s Lance and on the Panini Facebook page will be eligible to win one of the more than 20 total prizes up for grabs in this spectacular Black Friday contest, including Black Friday autograph cards, memorabilia cards and packs. The contest will run through Sunday.

Good luck. And from everyone here at Panini America, Happy Thanksgiving. We have so many wonderful blessings to be thankful for today and every day, but our loyal collectors are high on the list.

  1. I’m most thankful for this card

    http://s216.photobucket.com/albums/cc183/bowlerontherise/Dan%20LeFevour%20PC%20NFT/?action=view&current=2010PaniniPlatesAndPatchesInfinityPlatinumSignatures1.jpg

It was my first Panini 1/1 of the player I collect, Dan LeFevour. I got it from a great collector who gave me a great deal on it because he knew I collected LeFevour. It reinforced all the great people in the hobby and why I love the hobby so much. Plus, the card is sweet and the design is awesome.

  2. I am so Thankful for my 2011 R&S Dress for Success Bilal Powell auto Patch card that has an AWESOME swatch of the JETS logo on it.

Thanks so much for all you do for the hobby Tracy and all those at Panini!!

PS..LOVE LOVE LOVE the Tyler Seguin Autographed Patch card!! GO BRUINS!!!

  3. Id be thankful to have the tebow autograph…I’ve been a tebow fan since his days in Florida and I have a ton of his cards just no autographs (to pricey)….I admire his standings on his belief in god…

  4. i am most thanksful for my eli manning panini card because he is my favorite current player and I have been a huge giants fan since 1988

  5. im happy to have all my chiefs cards i get from you guys and id be thankfull for the philp rivers as he is a nice qb for sons pc or the taylor hall auto as he is one of the best young hockey players around.

  6. I would be most thankful to add a 2010 Crown Royale Tom Brady patch auto #/10 but since thats not up there i would have to choose the Larry Fitzgerald pro bowl card

  7. The card I would be most thankful for is the Tim Tebow Auto Breast Cancer awareness card. I am a huge support of Breast Cancer awareness so I would love that one… would fit nicely with my “I heart Boobies” collection.

  8. The card I would be most thankful to receive is the Tim Tebow Breast Cancer Awareness autograph. My girlfriend is a huge Tim Tebow fan (went to Florida) and is currently battling cancer (though I know she’s going to overcome it). I can’t imagine a card more perfectly suited for her.

    1. I am also thankful for my tony romo autographed dual patch #5/10 card from 2010 donruss gridiron gear. Tony Romo is my favorite QB, and one of my favorite players, and the cowboys are my favorite team. Living in the Dallas area, i am a fan of Romo, no matter how crazy his “roller-coaster” is. I never thought that i would ever get a card of my favorite player. I got this card about a year back, when i first started collecting cards. That card is the card that motivated me to collect more and more cards. 🙂

      Thanks for the contest 😀

  9. The card I am most thankful for is my 2009 Kobe Bryant auto. Out of the cards above I would be most thankful to have the Philip Rivers auto jersey since he is one of my favorite quarterbacks of all time in the NFL.

  10. I’m thankful for a base card…..the 2010-11 Prestige Larry Johnson (NBA).

My favorite team as a kid was the Charlotte Hornets and I was a huge collector of Grandma a as well as other guys like Glen Rice and Kendall Gill.

I’m glad to see some stars of the past in your products.

  11. The card i am most thankful for is the 10/11 prestige Kobe Bryant base card, i recently gave it to my god son and i seen his eyes light up the same way mine did sharing the hobby with my father. Keep the hobby alive!

  12. I would be most thankful to win the Tim Tebow breast cancer awareness card so I could give it to my mom for her collection! She would be so happy to receive an autographed card of her favorite football player! My mom reminds me of Tebow in the way they both fight through difficult times. My mom is a cancer survivor and Tebow is a huge inspiration to her. She likes how Tebow never gives up and fought to win the starting job for the Denver Broncos. She has always been a huge fan of Tebow ever since the days he was with the Florida Gators! She is very excited he has gotten the opportunity to be the starter in Denver!

  13. The card I would be most thankful for would be the Aaron Rodgers Superbowl football card. My son loves Rodgers because they share the same first name. I would be thankful to you for giving it to me because, as a life-long Viking fan, I would not be able to live with myself if I had to buy it. My skin is already crawling at the thought of buying him a Rodgers jersey for Christmas.

  14. The card I’m most Thankful for is my Timeless Treasures Jeremy Lin Autograph #/10! I made the purchase for the Jeremy Lin redemption card on eBay and when I received it, it turned out to be the GOLD version! What a great day it was, this is the most limited Jeremy Lin card in my collection 🙂 Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

  15. I would be Thankfull for the Tim Tebow Breast Cancer Autograph card i love what Tim Tebow stands for and cancer is something that affects so many people and is a great cause and helps so many people

  16. I would be most thankful for the Tyler Seguin auto. Being a Bruins fan since i was a kid and seeing them win the cup last year was awesome!!! Of all the boxes i ripped open this year i never pulled a Seguin card!

  17. The card in my collection that i’m most thankful for is my playoff contenders Tim Tebow auto. Not only am I a fan of Tim but I as also lucky enough to pull the card.

As a Steelers fan and collector I would love to add any of the Steeler cards but if I had to choose one Id pick the Polamalu card because he won Defensive player of the year last year.

  18. I’d be most thankful for the Aaron Rodgers Super Bowl relic card seeing as he is a local boy from Cal Berkeley. Dolphins should have never passed on him with the #2 pick!

  19. Well, the card I’m most thankful for is my 2010-11 Panini Gold Standard Gold Medalists Materials Prime #14 Steve Smith /25
(http://i767.photobucket.com/albums/xx314/TMakAct7/PC%20-%20Basketball/Hits%20-%20NBA/scan0006.jpg) because my wife and two boys bought me a box of Gold Standard for me and they gave it to me saying I deserve it for being a good Husband and Father. I am so grateful for my family. I feel very blessed to have them in my life.

  20. I am most thankful for all of the amazing cards you make. I have never bought a hobby box, but I have gotten some nice cards out of blasters.

  21. I would be most thankful to win the the Cam Newton draft day card for my son to add to his card collection! We are huge Panthers fans and have enjoyed watching all of their games for years now! We live in South Carolina and the Panthers hold their training camp at Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC during the summer time! We always go to their training camp to watch them practice and prepare for the season! We drive up to North Carolina to see at least one or two Panthers games each year in person and always watch their games on TV! We always have a great time at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte and enjoy going to the games! We went to the Panthers vs. Packers game this year and my son got to watch Cam Newton start his first home game in the NFL! My son is a huge Cam Newton fan and would be very thankful to receive the Cam Newton draft day card!

  22. I’d me most thankful to receive the Tyler Seguin manufactured patch autograph card. Watching the Bruins win the Cup last year was something I’d never thought I’d see and so far with the beginning of this season you can tell the kid is the future of the franchise. I’d love to be able to add one of his autographs to my collection!

  23. I’m most thankful for a Bob Uecker card my dad gave me when I got my first job. He told me that no matter how good (or not ha) you are as a player, as long as you work hard and be creative – there’s a place for you in the Hall of Fame. I still have it on my desk…

  24. I’m most thankful for the Trevor Frischmon Score hockey card from 2010-11. Saw him signed on a tryout deal on our AHL team a few years back, and I always thought he had the heart and drive to make it, so seeing him on an official NHL card and getting it was awesome!

The card I’d be most thankful to receive would be either of the Steelers Super Bowl cards..if I had to pick one, it’d be Big Ben. The fact that he gets a second chance shows why I’m thankful to be in the US, where you are innocent unless proven guilty.

  25. No doubt my favorite set that Panini has put out is the NFL HOF On Card Autograph set. Nice to know that the new inductees will be included every year as long as they are able to sign and from that set, no doubt the Sabol is my favorite. Nice to be able to find contributors through other ways than cuts. It was one card I felt I could not do without in my PC.

As for the card that I would most like to add to my PC, it would no doubt be the Troy Polamalu Super Bowl patch. Troy Polamalu is undoubtedly one of the best safeties in the game and destined to make the HOF. Being a Steeler, this would make that card a double PC as I always have a love for collecting the Pittsburgh Steelers.

  26. I’m thankful for my DeMar DeRozan rookie cards. I like his absolute rpm autograph the most. maybe one day I will be able to acquire his national treasures one, that would be awesome. happy holidays and let’s get NBA going again!

  27. the card i am most thankful for is my 09/10 national treasures shawn marion base card /99. While It may not be the most valuable, I have gotten the chance to meet shawn and he is a sick dude. My favorite player of all time and just a beautiful design.

I would love to receive the tim tebow autograph card since I have been a big follower of his ever since his days at florida. I feel as if he is special because he can run much and is a quarterback. I also would like that card because I have supported breast cancer a ton and have donated money to help the cause. I also have done charity things to help stop diseases like aids and have gone to shelters to help people who are struggling in life and are not fortunate enough to bust some panini cards.

  28. I would be most thankful for the Taylor Hall Autograph shown above. He is such a great athlete and being on the west coast it is hard to get to watch him play live. So having an autograph of his would be awesome!

  29. I would be most grateful for the Patrick Peterson Draft Day Patch/Auto, I have been a huge Patrick Peterson fan since I saw him play high-school football at Blanche Ely in Florida. I knew then, that one day he would become a star. Its a joy to watch him return punts every Sunday and make the spectacular look easy. Don’t have a Peterson auto yet for my PC, he only has a handful available and havent seen one yet in a Cardinals uniform, would love to get one. Thanks Panini for the contest!

  30. I would be most thankful for the Taylor Hall auto card because the only Hall auto card I opened last year I lost in a coin flip to a buddy I split the box with. Curse you, heads! 🙁

Also would be thankful for more hockey cards next year 🙂

  31. I would be most thankful to have the Troy Polamalu pylon card. Either of those Steelers cards are just plain old redunkulous!! I love Pittsburgh Steelers defense. I”m pretty sure the only Troy P cards in my collection are base cards. Collecting anything nice of his has been a little out of my LaMarr Woodley budget. lol Thanks for a great contest guys.

  32. Thanks for doing this contest. As a collector, I may not be able to buy the super expensive boxes, but I do buy packs whenever I can!

  33. i would be most thankful for the greg jennings superbowl patch. i was a green bay fan ever since the start of the superbowl

  34. The card I am most thankful for is my Ed Sabol from this year’s Timeless Treasures football. I love the entire set, including last year’s Classics On Card HOF Autographs, but when you can get a great contributor like Ed Sabol to sign on card, it makes it that much more special. I love knowing that each year, I can look forward to that year’s class to be signing on card for Panini again!

The card, of the 20 above, that I would love most to add to my PC is the Troy Polamalu Super Bowl patch. Being a Steeler collector, as well as a Hall of Fame collector (seeing as Troy will almost certainly make the HOF), Troy’s patch would be a great addition to my personal collection.

  35. I am most thankful for my Jacob Markstrom Dominion /99 RC, this card design is awsome and features some of the sweetest patches ever on a Rookie Card. This guy reminds me of the John Vanbiesbrouck days in Florida when I was a kid, only Markstrom is about 9 inches taller!

  36. This is a hard contest to be honest on the knights lance. All of the cards are awesome. Choosing just one is really hard. But if we have to, even though its hard, hope you dont mind, I will go with either of these 4. I would say the Prince Amukamara patch card and the Peyton Manning piece of football. The Greg Jenning pylon or the CAm Newton jersey card. Any of these would be a HUGE THANKS to my collection and I would def owe you guys a HUGE THANKS if I was to win. I have my reasons for each. Prince is my man for the Giants. Peyton football piece looks sick and he is Eli’s brother. Greg Jennings Pylon looks sick and owning a piece of the Super bowl that looks that good would be an awesome addition. And the Cam Newton jersey would be awesome to own. I have been trying all year just to get a rookie but to own a jersey would be sweet. THanks for the contest Panini and Happy Thanksgiving to you all and your families!

    1. I just noticed another reason why to be thankful for the Prince Amukamara. I didn’t realize it was signed. I must be blind. I came back to view all of these beauties again and saw the sweet signature on it. Wow! they all just look sogreat. Thanks for the oppurtunity to win any of these or the packs. Putting any of them into any collection is a huge plus. And def thanks for including a chance to win a NY Giant. So many thanks to you guys.

  37. I am most thankful to my dad who is the one responsible for my interest in this wonderful hobby he had peaked my interest at a very young age with his enthusiasm with hockey. Not only with his experiences and stories but with also giving me the opportunity to play sports. The card I am most thankful for is just a simple base card a zenith Patrick Roy because when I look at it it reminds me of how he told me that he was going to be really special when he first came into the league……..the card sits in a holder on my desk.
The card I would be most thankful to receive to add to my collection would be the Taylor Hall.

  38. I am thankful for this card…
    http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x51/jayaggie2015/Scan_Pic0011.jpg
    A Matt Moore Red Die-Cut Auto /50
I will never forget when I pulled it because it was on my birthday. My Dad had bought me my first box of EEE Baseball ever. Looking back at it now, it was the best box of EEE I ever had. It was a hot box, my first ever also. The box also had an auto of one of my favorite pitchers, jameson taillon. He went to one of my rival high schools and I have had the chance to practice in batting cages right next to him, the kids throws hard. The card meant so much to me because it was also the card that launched my collection of Matt Moore cards. That day of busting my Panini birthday boxes will always be remembered by my family and I. But Panini I just want to thank you for putting out top of the line sports cards products and I can not wait to see what I can pull from this years Elite Baseball. Have a Happy Thanksgiving and good luck to all of you who are going to bust those Black Packs. Wish my card shop was doing them but I’m out of luck.

  42. The card I would be most thankful for would be the Taylor Hall auto patch. Watching him play in Windsor for his OHL career was certainly a treat and it would look really nice next to my Spits game used stick.

  48. I would love that Aaron Rodgers ball piece because the packers are awesome!
I am thankful for all my cards! If I had to pick one, it would be my Hassan Whiteside Rookie 3-color 5-break patch auto 33/50, 33 is his jersey number!

  49. Im the most thankful for my Panini GOOD luck!!!!! I’ve got a Mark Ingrahm auto used jersey card # to 15, I’m most thankful for that card…

    -Happy Thanksgiving all Panini Fans!!!!!

  50. Im most thankful for the sweet autos and patches that come out of National Treasures (both NBA and Football) along with the behind the scenes work you do to help us better understand the hobby.

I also love the enthusiasm you guys have towards collecting!

  51. I am most thankful for the Taylor Hall Donruss rated rookie autograph card I got from the wrapper redemption at the spring expo in toronto. your redemption program is the best part of the Toronto expo. Keep up the great work. I would be most thankful for the Taylor Hall auto with the oilers logo. Looks awesome!

  52. The card in my collection that I am thankful for would be my Haloti Ngata 2006 Playoff Contenders card. I got to meet him and his humility and kindness was so inspiring. It was the card that got me collecting again.
The card that I would love to add to my collection would be the Troy Polamalu Super Bowl card. Thanks for the contest.

  53. I am just thankful that there is Panini has the NFL contract to make cards. Panini makes the best cards on the market. National Treasures are amazing and I didn’t have a bad hit out of any of the boxes I opened. Thank you Panini for making the bast cards on the planet for us all to enjoy.

  54. I am most thankful for my 2010 Certified Adrian Peterson Logo Patch /5 because it is the sickest patch pull I’ve had! And I’d be most thankful to have that Phillip Rivers Auto Pro Bowl GU because I’ve stuck by him year after year in fantasy through the good times & now the not so good times. Come on Phillip! Thanks Panini!

  55. The Greg Jennings Super Bowl patch is awesome!! It would definitely look good on display in my “Man Cave”!!

Keep up the great work Panini, cant wait to get those new baseball products!!!

  56. Just got a box of 2011 Certified Football. Pulled a Troy Aikman Immortals Gold Auto the day it arrived at the card shop! Awesome pull!! Can’t wait to redeem it! The product was STACKED by the way. Best pulls this year all around.

  57. I’d be thankful for the Rodgers football relic. He’s a great example of being patient and waiting until it’s your turn. Now he’s one of the best QBs in the game, if not the best.

  58. I would love to have the Greg Jennings Super Bowl patch. Sweet card that would look great displayed in my man cave!!

    Keep up the great work!!!!

Cant wait for the new Panini baseball products!!!!!!!!!

  59. The cards my 16 year old son got during the pack break at the Nationals. We Drove from South Central Pa to Chicago, 14 hours to go together. Spent two days there and he had a blast doing the pack breaks.

  60. –Card wise, I am most thankful for the Panini Mike Williams (Bucs) Autograph Large photo card that I redeemed at the Panini booth at the 2011 NSCC in Chicago. That Promotion was great along with this one. I’m heading to my LCS in the morning for some Black Friday packs and a few boxes of the new Certified football and hockey.
–I am also Thankful the NFL got underway this season and here is to hoping the NBA will begin soon as well. What a great day of football!
–Thanks to Tracy H., Scotty P., and the rest of the Panini crew for all the hard work promoting these great sports with these great products and promotions.

  61. I’m so thankful for my Michael Vick/Randall Cunningham Elite Throwback Threads Dual Auto Patch. This is seriously the most beautiful card i’ve ever seen, and I will never get rid of it. Helps that Vick is my all time favorite player, and it looks great next to all my other vick autos!!

Heres a direct link to the picture of it:

    http://i606.photobucket.com/albums/tt144/RyanToDouglas283/1%20Michael%20Vick%20PC/VickAutos155-1-1.jpg

Thanks everyone and have a great thanksgiving!!

  62. I am most thankful for this:

    http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll181/hudsonfan15/Indianapolis%20Colts%20Collection/Peyton%20Manning/scan0005.jpg

I pulled it at the LCS is spent many years working at as a tax refund gift to myself, to get a crazy nice Peyton Manning PC card like this in a box I opened was as memorable a hobby experience as I could have.

I would be TRULY thankful for the Peyton Manning ball card shown in the gallery, he is my favorite football player of all time and really should get retroactive MVPs for almost every year he’s been in the league based on the Colts’ performance this season without him. Some teams have a system, HE is the system there. I’ve always wanted to go to a Pro Bowl too so that would be about as close as I could get for the foreseeable future. Thanks as always for the contest and spending some of your holiday time putting this up Tracy and Panini!

  63. i am most thankful for my 2010 panini epix heath miller signature’s red /20 i think you guy’s at panini couldnt have produced a more beautiful card of such a high caliber tight end! thank you so much for making such interesting and unique products!

  64. The card I would most like to add to my collection would be the Peyton Manning piece of football from the pro bowl. Peyton will always be better than Tom Brady! The Colts being so bad this year just shows how important he really is to that team!

  65. I have been very fortunate to have some beautiful cards in my collection, including a 03-04 exquisite Dwyane Wade rc and a 2005 gold xfractor Aaron Rodgers auto.
The card I am most thankful for is not one of great monetary value, but is one that floods my mind with great memories. It is a 1991 SCORE Mickey Morandini Rookie. In 91 my dad took me and my little brother to our first card show to meet Mickey and have it autographed. Although my dad has passed, I need only look at that priceless card and relive the memories made with my family. I am thankful to this wonderfully crazy hobby for all the memories made and yet to be made.

  66. I am thankful for my freshly pulled Cody Hodgson autographed Certified RC.

Being from Vancouver, it’s a relatively big pull. I’m even more thankful when I pulled my 2nd Hodgson RC in the 2nd consecutive box. Both cards were sequentially numbered. They’re staying in my collection!

  67. I would be thankful for any card. I don’t care if its a base card or a 1/1. You just have to be thankful for what you have already, and thank God for all the blessings. So whenever I open a Rack Pack or a blaster of anything, I’m always thankful.

  68. I am thankful for any Packers card. When I open up a pack and see the green an gold it’s awesome to add another to the collection, I’d rather get a common packer then pull a single cowboy star!

  69. I’m thankful that up in America, you celebrate with 3 NFL games 🙂 It gives me something to procrastinate over while at work north of the border 🙂 As for the card in my collection, I am thankful for my Sam Bradford Auto #/5! it is a beauty and a favourite of my QB autograph collection! I hope to add some more when Contenders comes out. Hope you all had a great day.

  70. i’d be most thankful for the Philip Rivers card. The Chargers are one of my fave teams(behind the Cowboys) & i like the way he leads the team.

  71. The Panini America cards in my collection that I’m most thankful for? Damn thats a hard one to pick just one card. have a heap of Panini 1/1 inserts, patch and the like but it has to come down to the 2009/2010 Donruss Elite Larry Bird, Ray Allen dual Auto “Passing the torch” insert. It was the first card I really wanted after I got into collecting so when a Bgs 9.5 popped up on the Bay i snaffled it straight away.

    http://i1113.photobucket.com/albums/k518/Quicksilveraus/DSCF9885.jpg

  72. I would be thankful for the Patrick Peterson Panini Draft Day autograph patch card. It might not be worth as much an Aaron Rodgers in the beckett but it is one of the most unique cards as Peterson signed directly on the patch! You don’t see many players sign directly on the patch swatches and the white portion on the patch provided an excellent opportunity for Peterson to make a special card for a Panini collector!

  73. I’d be most thankful for one of the Tim Tebow autograph cards. Really liked him in florida and hope he does well leading the broncos. He seems to be a stand up guy and is not afraid of letting his faith been seen and heard. Thanks panini for what you do for collectors!

  74. I would be most grateful for the Taylor Hall Auto patch card. Hall’s contenders rookie auto has eluded me so far to complete my set so this would be kind of nice to go along with that since I do not have an auto of him yet. Now if I could just find one of those Paajarvi’s to go with it 🙂

  75. I AM MOST THANKFUL FOR MY KOBE BRYANT AND KAREEM ABDUL JABBAR AUTO FROM DONRUSS ELITE BEST CARD EVER 18/25LOVE THIS CARD TOOK TO LONG TO GET IT BUT WORTH IT HAPPY THANKSGIVING

  76. I am thankful for all of my cards in my collection, especially one that i pulled from
the Panini Black Box (Tim Tebow / Studio Rookies 1/1) .
I would be thankful to add any of the above awesome cards to my collection:)

  77. I would be thankful for the Bronco or Steelers cards because those two teams are the favorite teams in our family, my dad likes the Broncos and my mom likes the steelers.

  78. The card I’m most thankfull for is my 2010 Timeless Treasures Robert Parish Auto Patch /15 because without him Bird wouldn’t have won a championship.Too many role players such as Parish are overlooked in the hobby, yet they are just as important to the game as the stars.I love the fact that cards of these players are included in the mid to high end sets at a resonable price.Thank you Panini.

  79. I am most thankful for a redemption card I got back recently of 2010 Crown Royal Jermaine Gresham Rookie Die Cuts auto.It is a really cool design, and I am a huge Bengals fan.THANKS

  80. I am so thankful for my Panini Gridiron Gems Ryan Mathews Trio Prime Patch/Football/jersey numbered to 20 card. I am a proud Chargers fan and pulling this made me happy and what a card it is. The only player i am missing from my collection is a Phillip Rivers and am still trying to get my hands on one put people are asking to much but i am still trying to pull one so i would be thankful for that Phillip Rivers card. That would be a great Christmas present and Birthday in one for me.

  81. I’m most thankful for not just one card but a whole set. I am thankful for my 2010-11 Limited Phenoms hockey cards. I have 47 out of 50 and I have to say that my favourite one is Tyler Seguin which I very recently acquired.

    1. Oh and I would be real thankful to win that nice Tyler Seguin you’ve got up there with Taylor Hall. They are beauties!!

  82. We would be thankful, my daughter and I , for the Greg Jennings Super Bowl XLV card. This was Lexie’s first time watching the Packers in the Super Bowl and for a 13 year old girl she is a die-hard Packer Fan. Thank you very much for the chance to win!!

  83. I am Thankful for my entire Packers collection and that Panini was able to get Charles Woodson to sign autographs. I have been waiting a very long time to get an auto of him in his Packers uniform.

  84. I am most thank for this card:

    http://i.imgur.com/BbAxBl.jpg

It is the first Panini produced card I pulled of my favorite player Jason Kidd. It was the first of many awesome Jason Kidd cards that Panini has produced.

Of the Black Friday cards shown I think the Aaron Rodgers ball card has to be the best. I currently only collect Rodgers rookie cards but I think I would make an exception for that beautiful card.

  85. I am most thankful for my Wes Welker Panini Gridiron card. I am an avid football card collecter and hope to add some Tom Brady and Tim Tebow cards to my collection soon. 🙂

  86. I am most thankful for my 10 11 Certified Hockey Freshman Fabrics Mirror Gold /25 and regular /499 jersey auto of JORDAN EBERLE.

I bought a few boxes last year when certified just came out, and happened to pull both of the above cards. At this time I was not an Eberle collector, so I tried for quite a while to sell them on Ebay. I guess I was asking too much for them, so they didnt sell and I decided to keep them in my personal collection that consisted of random cards I “Liked” for their uniqueness.
I had them displayed on a shelf in my room along with my other cards, and later on in the year, I decided that I wanted to pick a player to focus my collection on. The only problem is, I couldnt decide WHO that player was going to be. I thought for months about who I would collect, and finally as I was looking at the cards on my shelf, it hit me. Those 2 Eberle cards were what started my collecting obsession with Jordan Eberle.
They were the first cards in my Eberle collection and among my most treasured because they were what finally made me decide who I wanted to collect! Sure, they arent the most expensive and prettiest cards in my PC, but they are the ones Im most thankful for, because if I had sold them when I was trying to, I probably never would have decided to start an Eberle collection !!!

    1. Well, I guess Panini asked 2 questions in their posting which card are you most thankful for in your collection, and which card youd be thankful for to receive. I guess the card id be most thankful for from the BLACK FRIDAY card list would obviously be the Taylor Hall Rookies and Stars (?) patch auto. Or anything Eberle!

  87. I am thankful that I have a job, as a Youth Services Librarian that permits me to make a difference and have a positive impact upon the community I serve. Further, I can and have managed to convey the passion I have for Trading Card collecting to many of the kids. I bring in my cards to show, and often use cards from my collection and Blaster Boxes as prizes for programs, particularly the statewide, annual Summer Reading Program.
In turn, this community has become a very nice component to my collecting experience!
Happy Black Friday to all! …and the Drew Brees Black Friday Pro-Bowl auto/patch is a sweet issue!

  88. Most thankful for my complete set of 10/11 Contenders Hockey.Master set with all the auto’s, even the short prints. My second best is my 2010 Certified Immortals Emmitt Smith Auto patch #/10. Got that as a replacement from your customer service. That’s what it’s all about great people at customer service that care for the collectors.

  89. I think I missed some of the details originally on this contest…….my corrected answer is………..I’d be most thankful to have the Troy Polamalu card. I am a Lions fan first and foremost, but my girlfriend is a DIE-HARD Steelers fan and her favorite is Polamalu. Since I’ve been with her I have watched more Steelers game than ever and have grown to love Polamalu as much as he does for his hard work on the field and his attitude off. He is what every athlete should model their game and life after.

  90. First of all I am thankful for Panini and the great cards you guys produce. I thankyou first off for just posting this contest it is awsome. I would be most thankful to win the Prince Amukamara Auto Jersey card because I am a DIE HARD Giants fan and would love to add that to my G-Men collection. Especially since he had an Interception on his first play in the NFL vs. the Eagels last week. He is a great player and that card is awsome. Even if i dont win the card or any of the cards I thank Panini for doing this contest and for putting out awsome cards.

  91. I would be most thankful for the Manning Pro Bowl card…because like the pro bowl that card would be returning home. TO HAWAII!!!

  92. I am most thankful for my 2009-10 Crown Royale Kobe Bryant Majestic Signatures that I pulled on my first box of Crown Royale. My most prized possession and my most lucrative pull ever.

  93. I’m thankful for my Dominion Jordan Eberle Jersey Auto 🙂

I would love to get the Taylor Hall auto to add to mt collection. Gotta love those talented kids in Edmonton!

  94. I’m thankful for my Matt Cassel Panini Thread 3clr Prime Patch – likely from the Letter of the E off his nameplate. Matt Cassel is one of my favorite players because he is the underdog story of the NFL. Hardly playing any snaps in college and making a name for himself in the league. Although I may never own a Letterman card of his, it’s good to know I can still get a piece of it via Panini Prime Memorabilia cards.

  95. I am most thankful for my 2010 Certified Peyton Manning Fabric of the Game Patch Auto serial numbered 8/10 and my 2010 National Treasures Joe Montana Emblems of the Hall Patch Auto serial numbered 15/15. I have gotten both of these from breaks on blogtv. It’s always nice to get an awesome card from a break that you would otherwise have to pay hundreds for.

  96. I think I read the instructions incorrectly the first time. So here we go again. Of the posted images, I’d be most thankful for the signed patch cards of Tyler Seguin and Taylor Hall. They are huge rising stars in the NHL and I have a lot of respect for their games. They would be the perfect pair of cards for my collection. I can see them side-by-side in my display case already.

  97. i am thankful for my demarcus cousins national treasures jersey/patch/jersey card. i am thankful for it because he is my favorite player. that set looks really nice also

  98. The card that I would be most thankful for is the Greg Jennings Super Bowl XLV pylon patch card. To me, it is more than just a Super Bowl Memoribilia card, it is a representation of the adversity that the Packers overcame during the season to get to the Super Bowl which was a great achievement in itself. The team had to bind together to overcome injuries thoughout the season and through the Super Bowl itself. Football is the ultimate team sport and the Packers showed how magical a season can be when a team comes together.

The card would also be a great centerpiece addition to my existing Packers collection. Thanks for the great contest and for the chance to win! These cards will certainly make a few lucky collectors very happy!

  99. I would be thankful for any of these cards or a chance at some packs. I do though would be very thankful for the Philip Rivers probowl auto jersey or the Ben Roethlisberger Super Bowl card would be terrific additions. Thanks for the contest Panini.

  100. I dont typically get excited by Hockey cards, it’s the one major sport that I don’t collect. However, the design is beautiful & it’s really well-executed. Sweet card bro.

  101. I would be most thankful to win the Tim Tebow Everything In Between card so I can give it to my son as a gift! He is a huge Tebow fan! He is also a huge Florida Gator fan and loved watching all of the Florida Gator football games with Tebow as their leader! He also loves Tebow’s faith and determination to never give up no matter what the circumstance is! He was so excited when Tebow got his chance to start for the Denver Broncos! He loves watching the Broncos games with Tebow as their starting QB! Tebow is a huge inspiration and role model to my son! My son has been asking for the Tim Tebow Everything In Between DVD for Christmas. With my son’s birthday being on December 29th, I would love to win the Everything In Between Tebow Card so I could hide it inside the DVD I got him! It would truly be the best Christmas/Birthday gift combination! My son would be so surprised to find an autographed card from his favorite football player hidden inside the DVD!!! He loves collecting Panini America Cards! He would be so grateful and thankful to receive this Tim Tebow Everything In Between card to add to his card collection!

  102. The card I am most thankful for is a Jeff Skinner Season Highlights autographed and numbered to 25 card. The card was part of the redemption program at the NHL All-Star game last year.

Panini’s redemption programs are absolutely incredible and provide a great opportunity for collectors to obtain some very special cards. I’m really excited about the Black Friday redemption program and hope I can get some great cards from that as well. I would really be thankful for a Cam Newton card!!!!

  103. The card in my collection that I am most thankful for is this Monday Night Heroes Aaron Rodgers 3 Color GU #’d 1/25. The real reason that I love it is because it was given to me by my older brother after he pulled it from a box back in 2009. For 2 years I hounded him to trade it to me (huge Rodgers fan) but he wouldn’t cave. My wife and I are expecting our first baby and after the shower he asked me if “I” got anything…of course I didn’t because it’s all rightfully for the baby – then he smiled and handed me a small package that had the Rodgers GU in it with a simple message; “Congratulations”.

The card above that I would be most thankful to receive is of course the Rodgers XLV GU Ball. The black friday promo was simply phenomenal. To have a unique piece of football history would be an honor and perhaps, just maybe, I’d give it to my brother. Might make him wait a few years first though 🙂

    Keep up the great work!!!

  104. Wow, I thought I had posted this days ago and for the oversight I am seriously apologetic!

With regard to Rich’s inquiry …. I was one of the winners of the “Panini ’11 Expo” contest. My prize? a stunning 1/1 Mark Ingram 4/C Auto-Patch taken from either his number or name plate. It’s stamped 1/1 and is embossed with ’11 Expo on it, which further enhances it’s value. I want Blog/Vlog members to know that Tracy offered to “customize” the prize, asking me if I collected any specific athlete or set so the prize could be “more you.” I informed Tracy that I had utter confidence in his ability to select something…and he didn’t disappoint! In my experience, that kind of interaction and dedication to the collector is without precedent.

Without this coming off as an Academy Award acceptance speech, I want to thank Panini, Tracy, Scott etc. I will post the picture AFTER I familiarize myself with photobucket. (I also wish to thank my wife and producer, without who’s support (yeah right) this wouldn’t have been possible, Direct-deposit banking which makes my purchases easier, my LCS…) : )

      1. I received an email from Tracy Hackler.
That said, I haven’t read or seen anything about the Thanksgiving Day contest yet. These guys are efficient and I would expect to see something within a day or so.

    1. I got an email from Tracy on Dec 14th, card came today.
It wasn’t at all the card I had commented on, but who can complain about a free card.
      thanks again Tracy,
      Happy Holidays to all

      1. Got mine as well today. Shows you really appreciate the community by doing these contests. 🙂 Thanks again Tracy and Panini!! Go Steelers!! 😉

  105. did you winners get emails earlier saying that you won, or did the packages just randomly show up? Thanks in advance, and congrats. I realllly wanted the Taylor Hall!

  106. I’d be thankful to get the 2012 panini black Steve smith stat line card with the 2 or 3 colored jersey it’s numbered out of 99 it’s an amazing card and I’m a huge fan of smith
