  1. Those multi-player Team USA cards are nice, but they’re gonna be a nightmare for random player group breaks as two people are gonna be heartbroken not getting such a nice and expensive card.

Also, these players need to start taking signature “centering” classes.

  2. Beautiful issues! The Stockon, Malone, Robinson triple on-card auto just might be the nicest ‘graph I’ve seen in some time. Likewise, Marino and Montana autos NEVER get stale. The Spectra Football is a magnificent product, brimming with historical significance…..I plan on getting a single or 2.

    Great gallery, happy holiday all!

  3. Amazing gallery! 2015 Spectra is the best Spectra yet & Noir looks like it could be ROY basketball product! Flawless looks and sounds better than ever! Keep up the great work as always Panini!

  4. I think with so many “high-end” products being made each season, the average collector is either forced to buy blaster boxes from retail sources, stick to opening the very few low-to-moderately priced releases or try their luck with the hundreds and/or thousands of breakers who have sprung up in recent years. Many if not most collectors can’t afford a single box of Luxe, Gala, NT, Noir, Flawless, Paramount, Spectra, Gold Standard(maybe), Immaculate or Preferred, much less a case. So breakers’ business has increased tenfold (my guess). It’s easier to stomach paying the”per spot price” than paying hundreds for the box.

I think of hi-end as releases in which the cost per card on a box price is $30-40 and up.

  5. I’ve have owned a store for over 23 years. The following is my view of my customer’s wants/expectations/buying tendencies.:

Panini America is “The King of High-End,” consistently providing collectors with the most sought after singles and high-demand boxes. The world-wide demand for Panini’s high-end products has resulted in significant box price increases on the secondary market. No one wants to buy a product that goes down in value after they bought it, so secondary price increases are good for hobby health. Panini America’s LUXE, Gala and Noir are in response to the world-wide demand for more high-end basketball products.

While high-end box prices are not within everyone’s entertainment budget, “breakers,” eBay sales, and trade sites provide the means for average collectors to acquire these high-demand high-end collectible cards.

At the same time, Panini America continues to provide the average collector with products under $70 per box with the majority of their products under $150 per box. For me and my customers I say, “Keep up the good work Panini America.”
