Panini America’s Updated Release Calendar

Admittedly, we've had a few products in recent weeks that have shifted from their originally stated release date. For the record, no one at Panini America likes moving release dates. Sometimes, however, it's simply unavoidable.

  1. Where’s base Panini basketball? I’m quite disappointed that there appears to be no plans for a set with deep player coverage (10+ per team). Panini – if you’re truly listening – I’m a long-time collector and I’m starting to question the NBA’s decision to go with an exclusive card manufacturer. Show me you’re listening and come out with a such a product. Here’s an idea – serious expand your Season Update offering. That would work for me!

    1. Unless something changes, it appears that the product with the best player coverage will be Adrenalyn at 10 players per team. Why would the deepest line-up be found in a card game? I collected Adrenalyn last year but there’s no true player info on the cards – only the offense and defense ranking out of 100.

I decided to collect Donruss Basketball since a 2010-11 Base Panini product does not appear to be in the works. Nice product and worth collecting for a number of reasons but not the player coverage is only 6-7 per team – a tad light.

On another front, I also plan to collect the Panini NBA stickers with my daughter. This should be truly fun but today is February 18 and I still have seen anything in stores yet. I’ll check tomorrow.

  2. Hmmm, same old..same old.

why even put a release out there when you as card companies don’t ever want to follow it and continue to push them out and push them out. You can give me all the reasons in the world, but as a consumer, it really makes me not believe a word that you guys ever say.

    1. Trevor, thanks for the feedback. I understand your frustration. It’s the same frustation we feel when faced with the extremely tough decision to move any release date. We apologize for any inconvenience and we’ll continue striving to meet every deadline.

  3. Sure looking forward to seeing Jason Pominville of the Buffalo Sabres get some jersey cards from Panini soon, was a bit upset when his card got pulled last minute from the Junior Legacy set in Certified. He had a slow start to the year but now is back in his real self again.

  4. Tracy, can you expand on the “NBA Sticker & Album Collection” released on February 16th?

My son and his friends are so into the NFL stickers… I can’t tell you how many times they’ve asked if there are NBA stickers too. Up until now, I’ve had to say no. Is that changing soon?

      1. Great news! Will the NBA album and stickers be widely available (in Massachusetts) like the NFL stickers? Is there a preview available online?

  5. Nowhere to be found in the Boston area (at the usual places that had the NFL stickers). Are you sure you’re referring to the “NBA sticker & Album Collection” (not the Adrenalyn card album). I can’t find info on the NBA sticker album anywhere on the web.

  6. can anyone explain to me which are the best cards in order on value later on for panini for the years between 09-10 and 10-11
as im currently confused which is the best box of cards..
