January 11 Redemption Update

In an effort to keep collectors updated on the status of those Panini America redemption cards that are currently being processed, we’ll post a list every week, like the one included in the attachments below, detailing the most recent cards being fulfilled this week.

The following list is intended to inform collectors about which redemption cards from which products are being processed this week. We’ll update this list every Friday afternoon, so stay tuned next week if you don’t see your card here.

These weekly reports often include “rebatched” redemptions — cards from widely broken products that have been previously redeemed but required subsequent shipments due to high volume. In addition, this week’s report is noticeably lighter than normal due to both the shortened holiday week and the fact that the good folks in the Panini America Accounting department are concluding the end-of-year inventory audit. Having said that, at long last the NBA Draft Class Redemptions from 2011-12 products make their long-awaited debut on this week’s list.

If you have specific redemption questions, you can contact the Panini America Customer Service department via email at [email protected] and the Panini America Customer Service Manager via Twitter.

  1. if i have a shumpert limited redemption auto (pick 17 in 2011 nba draft)
is that one of the cards on the list for redemptions?

  2. I got my Damian Lillard Golden Futures Metal in today…they aren’t numbered but are they Short Printed or do they have a limited amount? Please let me know!

  4. Tracy, I had a customer buy some 10-11 Zenith hockey last night (and were VERY happy) and he hit a redemption card. The cutoff was 1/6/13, but he put it through anyway and your system appeared to take it. Do you know if that date has been extended?

    1. The window hasn’t officially been extended, but we do our very best to honor every redemption card that comes in. If it’s an expired redemption and we don’t have the card in inventory, we’ll honor with something of similar value.

  5. Thanks for the update,

What’s the word on Kyrie redemption. I saw a couple months ago he signed for his older products including timeless treasures (which his auto’s are live). I have a limited one and was hoping to get a timetable. I tried contact PaniniCSM through twitter but with no luck. Let me know when you can.

    Thanks!

    1. You’re only the third person I know of to also have the Sidney Crosby Silhouette card. Only 2 showed up on eBay, I snagged one of them. I’m hoping they are Patch, not Prime. I am also hoping they are extra limited. Good luck to you.

      1. I’m definitely not looking forward to trying to find one for my set. I really hope it’s #/25 and not #/10 like some of the other redemptions.

      2. Oh, you didn’t already get one? So then the number I know of remains at 2. I know the Luongo Silhouette was a Patch numbered to /10. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Crosby was at most a /10, possibly even a /5. It’s number 1 in the set, it’s Crosby, and in the year since the set was released I have only seen 2 come up on eBay…and none since I got mine last March. I think it’s gonna be tough, unless everybody held onto theirs to wait and actually get them. Time will tell, I will keep you posted on mine.

      3. I have yet to see a Crosby since I started the set in the summer. So far for SP’s I have been able to confirm that Luongo is #/15 and Khabibulin, Patrick Kane, Nick Lidstrom, Eric Staal are #/10. I am waiting on Perry and Kopitar that are in redemption right now and have a Sedin and Ovechkin lined up when they get returned. There’s a bunch still that I have yet to see but it doesn’t surprise me as I got a really late start to the set.

      4. Ah, yes the Luongo was /15, my mistake. I haven’t followed up on all of the others though, and was unaware that there were other Silhouette Signatures that were /10. That sort of makes me expect the Crosby to be really limited as well. I actually sent Panini an e-mail today, so hopefully I get some sort of response with info soon.

      5. I wish I would have know how many redemptions there were in this set before I started it. I’m guessing that a lot of the ones from Crown got redeemed and that’s why they aren’t surfacing. I hope they surface eventually as there’s nothing I hate more then putting my mind to something then not being able to find them.

      6. Well, I told you I would keep you posted. I received my card, and they are numbered to 25, shockingly. I have number 10, and they are also Patch cards, not Prime. I see somebody else posted one on eBay, it’s almost a mirror image of mine, and he is asking $1000 or Best Offer. Good luck finding one.

  6. Got a Vick Ballard Certified Red in the mail this week, very nice card and superb turnaround from when I entered it. Excellent job by David and that department!

I appreciate your time and your continued efforts to keep us all informed about the redemption process, I’m sure everyone who reads the Knight’s Lance would agree!

      1. Thanks Tracy, I wasn’t sure what the proper venue for that sort of thing would be or if you would want my fellow reader’s input before bringing it up to anyone of importance. If it turns into something please let me know!

      2. Hi Tracy,
Can you please update the many of us looking for print run(s) on the Panini Draft Redemptions? Past/Present/Limited/Gold – I received 3 of my 50+ draft redemptions, the 3 were from Past and Present, plain old, base cards.

It would be GREATLY appreciated to have an idea of the print run AND when can we expect Kyrie to sign? I see there are more than 20+ others out there, desperately waiting to hear/see/feel an update on Kyrie auto’s.

        Thank you sir!

  7. Tracy I see that a quite a few 2011 2012 elite passing the torch autos are being processed this week any idea when I could expect to see these cards they will complete my set..

  8. 2011 totally certified HRX cam newton auto /10 video card is still not in? I have been waiting for a year almost now and still no response.??

  9. TRACY……………………Did Matt Kemp sign the 2011 contenders season tickets? It’s been almost a year since I submitted the redemption card…..let me know….thanks

  10. Hi, just wondering if there is any update on Robert Griffin’s 2012 Panini Absolute
Star Gazing Signature Materials, thank you

  11. How does it work with redemptions? I’ve put one through for Panini Prime 2011 Sidney Crosby Namesake Auto Patch #65. I saw that its on the list but I never received an email, that it has been sent
