Panini Instant Honors Patriots, Raiders with New 25-Card AFC Playoff Team Sets

The AFC East-champion New England Patriots and AFC West-leading Oakland Raiders are the latest 2016 playoff qualifiers to be honored with special Panini Instant 25-card team sets that will be available beginning at 2 p.m. CST today on the Panini Instant platform. In addition to cards honoring the top superstars from each team (including Tom Brady, Julian Edelman and more from the Pats, and Derek Carr, Amari Cooper and more from the Raiders), each of the sets includes the first-ever NFL cards of several players.

The AFC East-champion New England Patriots and AFC West-leading Oakland Raiders are the latest 2016 playoff qualifiers to be honored with special Panini Instant 25-card team sets that will be available beginning at 2 p.m. CST today on the Panini Instant platform. In addition to cards honoring the top superstars from each team (including Tom Brady, Julian Edelman and more from the Pats, and Derek Carr, Amari Cooper and more from the Raiders), each of the sets includes the first-ever NFL cards of several players.
The Patriots team set features trading card debuts for Joe Thuney, David Andrews and Elandon Roberts; the Raiders’ first-timers include Jamize Olawale, Donald Penn and Stacy McGee. Each set will be available in a base version that will be numbered to the quantity ordered, a Purple version numbered to 10 and a Black 1/1 version. The ordering window opens at 2 p.m. CST today and will remain open for 72 hours.

New England and Oakland are the third and fourth playoff qualifiers of the 2016 season to be honored with their own Panini Instant team sets, joining the Dallas Cowboys and Seattle Seahawks.   1. While I’m not thrilled that my Colts didn’t make the playoffs, these are some very nice releases for fans of these teams. Tough break for the Raiders with Carr. Thanks Tracy!

  2. Well that really blows moose, would have loved an opportunity to buy my Chiefs but the were snapped up by dealers who just want to “Flip em” to make a quick buck, what else is new in this money grubbing hobby LOL
