Panini Instant NFL Recap: Baker’s Bucs Sail to Victory in Week 6

Week 6 in the NFL provided another entertaining slate full of thrilling victories and standout individual performances. Collectors everywhere can add cards representing the top moments of the week through the latest round of Panini Instant NFL cards.

In a sea full of outstanding outings, a pair of Buccaneers shined brightest. Leading the charge for Tampa Bay was Baker Mayfield. Playing with his usual levels of grit and swagger, the star signal-caller continued to make his early case for MVP.

One of his two touchdown passes on the day went to Tez Johnson. The rookie seventh-rounder made a lunging grab in the end zone for the first score of his young career. Both of their performances helped secure a 30-19 win that pushed the Bucs to an NFC-best 5-1 record.

They weren’t the only NFC South teammates that willed their team to victories. Moving to North Carolina, the Panthers rode star outings from Rico Dowdle and Tetairoa McMillan to a 30-27 dub over Dallas.

Dowdle led Carolina in both rushing and receiving yards and broke Christian McCaffrey’s franchise record for scrimmage yards in a game with 239. As for McMillan, it was an equally impressive day for the rookie. He finished with three snags for 29 yards, with two of those catches being touchdowns.
