Panini Instant NFL Recap: Rookie Runners Erupt in Week 4

The 2025 NFL season is flying by in exciting fashion. The first three weeks of the campaign saw a plethora of electric performances from veterans and rookies alike. Things were no different in Week 4. There were plenty of standouts, and you can add cards showcasing their dynamic outings to your collection through the latest batch of Panini Instant NFL cards.

Kicking things off, the unstoppable duo of Matthew Stafford and Puka Nacua both earned cards after leading the Rams to a 27-20 win over the previously unbeaten Colts. Dealing dimes all over the field, the veteran quarterback threw for 375 yards and three touchdowns, with his favorite target accounting for 170 of those yards.

Stafford wasn’t the only signal-caller lighting up foes. In Atlanta, Michael Penix Jr. connected on 76.9 percent of his tries for 313 yards and a pair of touchdowns. His elite effort guided the Falcons to a 34-27 win over the Commanders.

Also putting up big-time numbers, Patrick Mahomes II powered the Chiefs to a 37-20 win over the Ravens with 270 yards and a quartet of scores through the air. The superstar became the fastest player in NFL history to reach 250 career passing touchdowns (116 games).

A trio of veteran wideouts made their presence felt on Sunday. Starting with an overseas clash in Ireland, DK Metcalf demolished the Vikings’ defense. All he needed was five catches to rack up 126 yards and a score during Pittsburgh’s 24-21 win.

For Dallas, George Pickens showed exactly what he can do with game highs in catches (eight) and yards (134). Joining him with a brilliant performance of his own, Romeo Doubs found the end zone three times for Green Bay.

The real story of the week was a handful of rookie running backs stealing the show. Facing a stout Detroit defense, Cleveland’s Quinshon Judkins rushed for 82 yards and a TD to go with four receptions for 33 yards. Omarion Hampton impressed for the Chargers, ripping off 128 yards and a touchdown against the Giants. Houston’s Woody Marks racked up 119 yards from scrimmage and the first two touchdowns of his career, helping lead a 26-0 rout of Tennessee.
