Panini America Product Development Director Ben Ecklar is spending the morning at our printing facility as the packout process begins for 2010 Certified Football. He came across the following gems and couldn’t help but scan them in and send the images over. (Thank you, Ben.)

Although the scans don’t do the actual cards justice, let’s be honest: It’s never too early for a quality sneak peek, especially when you’re talking about these four-piece Rookie Mirror Black 1/1s.

The product is slated for a November 17 release and football brand manager Carlos Torrez says there will also be another Mirror Black 1/1 version with oversized NFL shield patches.

  1. I’m the guy that started the “trackback” on Blowout. Pushing this product back 3 times is going to kill the resale for box-breakers like me since Limited will be coming out right behind it. I’ve cracked at least a master case of Certified every year for the past 10 years and I’ve never seen a month delay before. What gives?

    1. First of all, we really appreciate your support and passion for Certified and apologize for any inconvenience. The fact of the matter is that the release date has been moved to Nov. 17 to allow us time to get as many live autographs into packs as absolutely possible. That’s it. I’ll keep you updated if anything else changes and here’s hoping that you find the product to be worth the wait.

      1. Hey Tracy

Make sure you send those my way before you pack out. I have my X-acto knife in hand, and with a little tweaking could fix all of them free of charge. I just bought a house here in Dallas so hit me up.

  2. Wow! How is this even possible. After the initial release date was missed there was absolutely nothing posted anywhere even on the web site, and even as of Tuesday 11/2/10 there was not even a mention of the product on the web site. When I called customer service they said nothing except the product was not ready. Now all of a sudden the product will be released as of 11/17 or what ever with really tinny logo patches. How rediculous is this. So how much interest did Panini make by holding all of that money for 3 extra weeks? Tracy I thought you would be doing some good over there making the products better.

Carlos Torrez says there will also be another Mirror Black 1/1 version with oversized NFL shield patches.

So apparently there are 2 versions of the mirror black. The one above and one with the full shield patches.

  4. Tracy, these guys bi#ch to much. I love the cards! I would much rather wait a month or so longer for a product with less redemptions than one with a alot. YOu guys would cry about to many redemptions if they did put it out on time. The product looks great and is always one of my favorites! Keep up the great work Panini[Tracy]!!

    1. Yeah you’re right, some of us b#tch too much. When our money has been tied up in a presell and the product keeps getting delayed, I think we have a right to. Also, after seeing this, I wished I hadn’t.

  5. Tracey,
What are you going to do for the little guy who has had his money tied up in the pre order for a once upon a time of delivery date of 10/27/20 can you say October, and interest for Panini. Tracey I know it is not your fault, but the little guys are the ones being pushed to the rear hear. Now I guess there will not be any money to buy any other product as we will not have had time to make any money off of Certified. Also I am in a group break, and just 32 examples of guys with their money tied up, and nothing we can do until it comes out.
