Panini Peek: 2011-12 Crown Royale Hockey
One of last season’s most popular hockey brands is gearing up for a majestic return to the ice. And make no mistake about it: 2011-12 Crown Royale Hockey is poised to be as regal as it ever when it releases just after the new year.
The new edition of one of last season’s favorite hockey products once again will deliver the devastatingly gorgeous Rookie Silhouettes Rookie Cards, complete with on-card autographs, prime pieces of player-worn material and an expanded 20-card checklist that give collectors a better chance of pulling one of these gems.
Each four-card box of 2011-12 Crown Royale Hockey will deliver two autograph cards and two memorabilia cards and bevy of new insert sets highlighted by:
Signature Silhouettes featuring on-card autographs and oversized prime or patch swatches of the NHL’s top players
Crown Royale Ice Kings presents hockey’s greatest legends on a newly enhanced design, including the first-ever Ice Kings on-card autographs, limited to just 99 copies or fewer
Crown Jewels, a dazzling one-per-case insert featuring the hobby’s hottest stars
The popular Scratching the Surface Autographs insert returns (featuring popular signers such as Alex Ovechkin, Martin Brodeur, Jaromir Jagr, Steven Stamkos, Steve Yzerman, Manon Rheaume, Curtis Joseph and more) along with a bevy of patch-enhanced parallels for several sets, including Mythology, All The King’s Men, Heirs To The Throne, Royal Lineage and Lords of the NHL, each limited to no more than 25 copies.
