Panini America today provided the telling first glimpses of 2011 Plates & Patches Football, which boasts a new-and-improved content mix over last season's debut and a release date of December 14.

Panini America today provided the telling first glimpses of 2011 Plates & Patches Football, which boasts a new-and-improved content mix over last season’s debut and a release date of December 14.

New for 2011 on-card-signed, prime-memorabilia Rookie Cards of the top 36 first-year players (including Cam Newton, Randall Cobb, Mark Ingram and Julio Jones) numbered to 499 or less and the all-new Signal Callers insert featuring autographs from the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history.

Each box of 2011 Plates & Patches Football will deliver 10 cards, highlighted by one on-card prime-memorabilia Rookie Card, two additional autographs numbered to 499 or less and two memorabilia cards numbered to 299 or less. The product lives up to its name by delivering an extensive and impressive array of printing plate 1/1s, including autographed, prime memorabilia and autographed prime memorabilia versions.

  1. Some fantastic stuff in those pictures, it will be interesting to see what the “average” box looks like. How are the redemptions looking for this year’s product so far?

  2. Oooh, this looks real nice. I’m especially liking that Ingram style card. Although it looks like the auto space might be limited? Still looking stellar. I hope that white stays flat white and not rainbow foil-board. Also think the Blue should stay flat too and not be Blue Foil. I didn’t think the Blue foild looked all that great in P&P last year. Hard to read imo.

  3. YES!!!!!!!!! I was hoping you guys would put out Plates & Patches again this year!!!! And thanks Tracy for showing me a preview of that SICK Aaron Rodgers auto!!!!! I HAVE to get that card as soon as it comes out! Im going to tell my daughters that Daddy needs a few boxes of Plates & Patches for Christmas!!
