News flash: Panini America's popular Court Kings art-inspired autograph cards are making a royal return to the hobby. And they're making a comeback in the same product that will include the company's first backboard-inspired thick-glass cards. It's an elite collecting mix that calls for an elite brand name: In late May, NBA collectors will be treated to the premiere edition of Elite Series Basketball.
News flash: Panini America’s popular Court Kings art-inspired autograph cards are making a royal return to the hobby. And they’re making a comeback in the same product that will include the company’s first backboard-inspired thick-glass cards. It’s an elite collecting mix that calls for an elite brand name: In late May, NBA collectors will be treated to the premiere edition of Elite Series Basketball.
2012-13 Elite Series Basketball will deliver re-imagined versions of many of Elite’s most popular inserts, including Passing the Torch Autographs, Aspirations and Status die-cuts, and a new array of Inscriptions autographs from rookies and current superstars. But one key point of differentiation between Elite Series and Elite is this product’s upscale configuration: Four autographs and one Elite Glass card in every 10-card box.
The product’s 275-card base set is bolstered by 14 insert sets (including seven that are autographed), featuring the 100-card Court Kings, the dramatically designed Court Vision, Rookie Elite Series and many more. We’ll have much more to share regarding 2012-13 Elite Series Basketball in the coming weeks right here on The Knight’s Lance.
But until then, enjoy this first look at Panini America’s exciting new product . . .
The thick glass-like card concept is interesting!
Like what I see!
Will the glass card inserts have auto’s? Or numbered?
Quantity over Quality is Panini’s motto?
Stop it…
Are the super thick glass gonna be auto’s?
Don’t think so, but I’ll look into it.
so this is a 1 pack product? Cant wait to see more soon
Yes, sir.
Elite and Elite Series products? – enough already. Save some juice for 2013-14.
Good to see Court kings making a comeback!
Interesting looking product, I’d like to see one of those glass cards live to see just how thick they are. Thanks Tracy!
