Panini Peek: A Colorful First Look at the Rainbow Array of Possibilities in 2020 Prizm Baseball

Panini America officials recently sent out preliminary Product Information Solicitations for several exciting new products coming soon enough to a hobby shop or online retailer near you and, over the course of the next few days, we’re sharing that same information with you here on The Knight’s Lance, this time featuring the brilliantly colorful 2020 Prizm Baseball.

In the extensive product preview that follows, we’ll showcase a must-see bevy of preliminary images as well as the product’s PIS documents for the hobby edition as well as the various retail SKUs. Enjoy the sneak peek and stay tuned for additional details.

Release Date: April 10, 2020
Product Configuration: 12 cards per pack, 12 packs per box, 12 boxes per case.
BOX BREAK: Three autographs, three Silver Prizms, four Blue Prizms, five Red Prizms and 12 inserts per hobby box, on average.

  • Look for 3 autographs per box.
  • Find four hobby-exclusive parallels: Blue, Red, the ultra-rare Tiger Stripe and the 1/1 Gold Vinyl.
  • Color Blast returns! Also look for the new ultra-rare Gems insert.
  • Look for one Hot Box per case featuring new, Hot Box-exclusive Red/Orange parallels at a rate of 24 per box.
  • Five new base subsets including Instant Impact, Brilliance, Illumination, Star Gazing and Numbers Game.
