Panini QC Gallery: 2010-11 Pinnacle Hockey

The anticipation is tangible. The expectations are high. In seven short days, hockey collectors will have, for the first time since 1997-98, a new Pinnacle set to call their very own. Hey, what's another week when wistful hobbyists have waited almost 15 forlorn years now?

The anticipation is tangible. The expectations are high. In seven short days, hockey collectors will have, for the first time since 1997-98, a new Pinnacle set to call their very own. Hey, what’s another week when wistful hobbyists have waited almost 15 forlorn years now?

Judging by this exclusive and exhilarating first look at live cards from 2010-11 Pinnacle Hockey (courtesy of the initial quality control check conducted by Panini America NHL brand gurus Al Muir and Clint Hall), one more week may feel like an eternity.

The product is bolstered by the use of boldly reimagined Dufex technology — dubbed “Nufex” — and a wealthy dose of modern amenities that weren’t exactly common when Pinnacle last appeared on the market more than a decade ago.

We hope you find the following sneak peek indicative of a new-generation Pinnacle that’s well worth the wait.

  1. I’m excited to see the return of Dufex Technology… that Ryan Miller Team Pinnacle card looks awesome… Is there another player featured on the other side like the 90’s version?

  2. Tracy,
Will Jacob Markstrom be in this set? Will Subban have autographs in the packs or will they be redemptions? Keep up the great work the itch for more cards is immense right now, as we have not had any hockey released for over a month.
    Thanks
