Panini Select Basketball: Every Pack Opens a New Door

Written by: Kara Gates

Every great adventure starts with a single step, but in the world of 2025-26 Panini Select Basketball, it starts with a pack. Returning with its signature Opti-Chrome technology, Select is once again opening the door to an incredible collecting experience, bringing together an exciting mix of legends, superstars, rookies and top NIL prospects. With a variety of parallels, autographs, memorabilia and inserts to discover, every pack offers a new path worth exploring.

The journey begins with the return of Select’s three iconic base tiers: Concourse, Premier and Courtside. Each offers another way to collect the game’s biggest names, giving collectors plenty of territory to cover as they work toward completing the set. Along the way, look for an average of 24 Base Prizms per hobby box, including some of Select’s most popular parallels. The chase gets even more exciting with Tie-Dye (numbered to 25), Gold (numbered to 10), Green (numbered to 5), and the elusive Black Finite 1-of-1.

Of course, some of the most exciting discoveries are waiting just beyond the next turn. Collectors can find an average of three autographs or memorabilia cards plus six inserts or insert parallels per hobby box. Hobby-exclusive favorites like En Fuego, Select Future and Introductions return, joined by two brand-new destinations: Notoriety and Select Buckets. Keep an eye out for spectacular SSPs Color Wheel, Stained Glass and Solar Eclipse, too. Featured autograph and memorabilia treasures include Flawless Signatures, Immaculate Rookie Introductions, National Treasures Rookie Patch Autographs and Silhouette Autographs.

With five cards per pack, 12 packs per box and 12 boxes per case, there’s no shortage of opportunities to discover something special. No two collecting adventures have to look alike, and the 2025-26 Panini Select Basketball trading cards give every new pack another chance to find your next favorite.
