But it arrived inside Panini America headquarters late Monday afternoon, affording us a perfect opportunity to preview the product before an intriguing Monday Night Football matchup between the St. Louis Rams and New York Giants.
We grabbed NFL Brand Manager Carlos Torrez and ventured into the Panini America lobby to film this special impromptu episode of Panini Unwrapped. After you’ve watched the video, be sure to keep scrolling to access the complete checklist for 2011 Timeless Treasures Football.
What, no video love for Aik?
Oh, we’ve got nothing but love for Aik. But his appearance fees are WAY TOO HIGH for our budget.
CARLOSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
You guys need the make an ENTIRE set of HOFers using that design. Make it a box set with a few parallels and an auto. Would be KILLER!
That would be kick-butt
I am glad that Panini has made a football product like Timeless Treasures!!! This collection looks so Great!!! Good Job Panini!!! And keep up the Good Work Tracy and Carlos!!!
Those recruits cards look very nice, both the relic and relic/auto versions.
Pretty cool product, you actually had me at the Red Grange tin. Being able to pin point the specific game that the jersey was used really makes it special. The Rookie Recruits insert is a sweet design.
How many different player designs are there on the tins?
Four total: Red Grange, Dutch Clark, Adrian Peterson and Matt Ryan.
Well guys that concept of actual game day jerseys fantastic from a specific game and time and I can not say enough…..that is just one great concept and I like it! I also like the rookie recruits I like the plain white background and the look of the card ……as for old school players well those in all product I like………
Thank you for adding game specific information for the jerseys. That was something I really enjoyed seeing and collecting with some of the early 2000’s DLP products. I don’t understand why it went away but I welcome the return. Maybe photos of the specific material will also make a return?
Terri assists with customer service????? How about that she is the only one who has helped and actually answered calls in my experience in the last 2 months – big props to her – sorry to be such a downer but Classics was one of my favorite products – I hope this is just as good but I’m not sold from your video
why no CASEY MATTHEWS??????

First off, I wanna say thank you to Panini for awesome photo-matched jersey cards with dates, those will get people interested in jersey cards again and want to own memorys of exciting games and/or games they attended. The rookie year jerseys are a good idea also.
I was really looking forward to this product, Unfortunately I just had to cancel 5 cases I was gonna bust :o(
4 of the 6 cards you guys pulled are rookies. There is a need for an all vet/hof majority product and I think everyone was excited thinking this would be it.
This checklist also states that 42 of the 125 Veteran Signatures are Redemptions?
I understand redemptions are a necessary evil but a brand new product being devolved during a lockout should have had tons of time to prepare for that auto checklist. If we could get %70 of our redemptions within 2 months, I wouldn’t even complain about them. Right now I have gotten %10 of my redemptions in 6 months
Very sweet player lineup and the design is amazing. Another great one Panini!
Great Job on Getting a London Fletcher Autograph!!! He is too good of a player not to have more ink out there!
Tracy, you know you dont need that Von Miller or the Sannon Sharpe. Send them my way please. The Sharpe would look great next to my autographed one. Stuff looks good, Ill be buying a few tins next week. Thanks for the preview.
Love it. Looks great! Kudos to the design team on this one.
But I’m going to keep saying this for next year…minis with the beat up card design! 🙂
Oh!!. I like it very much.
I just spent $90 on a 5 card pack of these cards. I pulled a darren mcfadden jersey card , a mark ingram rookie signatures card numbered 1/1 and a redemption card for a drew brees statistal leaders auto prime materials. Also a hakeem nicks base card and two shannon sharpe cards. I was really disappointed with this box to be honest. I expected something similiar to national treasures but it wasn’t. To be honest the high end inserts look way to common. This ingram I got should have me super excited being a 1/1 and all but it doesn’t. You can’t even read the writing on the card. Lack of foil embosing. I would love to be a designer of these kinda sets. I know what sells and I expect this set to be a failer. Not to mention half the cards are damaged on the corners. Come on now! You can spend $90 on 5 of these cards or you can take my word for it. Just check ebay and you will see these cards are not what they should. I love the idea just hope they can step it up next year. God bless!
I am going to be getting a few boxes of this stuff, but I want to be prepared for the opening with the proper hard cases. So my question is: what is the width (100 pt, 130 pt) of the basic card and also the width of the jersey cards? Thanks in advance.
You should be safe with the 130s.
So, Let me get this right: regardless if I get a jersey auto or a base auto it will be 130 pt?
No, 130s for the mem and thicker autograph cards.
Perfect! Is it safe to assume the non-relic/mem cards are base 35 pt then?
I think that’s safe.
