Panini Unwrapped: 2012 Black Friday Craze Starts Now with Chance to Win Free Packs

Since it's 11 p.m. here in Dallas right now, that means it's officially Black Friday on the East Coast. And that means the madness has begun. So to help celebrate what promises to be a banner day in hobby shops across the country with the official kickoff of Panini America's 2012 Black Friday promotion, we're going to start this thing in style with the official Black Friday Panini Unwrapped episode.

So to help celebrate what promises to be a banner day in hobby shops across the country with the official kickoff of Panini America’s 2012 Black Friday promotion, we’re going to start this thing in style with the official Black Friday Panini Unwrapped episode.
But after you’ve watched the riveting, heartfelt and hug-heavy edition of Panini Unwrapped, we’re going to give you a chance to win some sweet 2012 Black Friday packs. Keep reading — and watching — to find out exactly how we’re going to do that.


OK, now that you’ve watched the video, here’s how we’re going to award five lucky collectors with some 2012 Panini America Black Friday packs of your very own.
Below, we’ve listed links to four random Black Friday preview galleries that appeared on The Knight’s Lance in the last week. In one of those galleries, we’ve hidden the following image into one of the cards. Your job is to find it.

Once you’ve found it, leave the name of the image (that appears just below and to the left of the image in the scrolling gallery) as a comment to this post. You’ll have until the end of Black Friday (officially 11:59 p.m. on Friday) to get your entry in. On Saturday, we’ll select five winners from all correct entrants and each will win five Black Friday packs. Got all that?

  57. I believe the answer is “Panini America 2012 Black Friday Bonus Auto Mem 29”. It is the back of the card that pictures Gordie Howe and he is wearing a Panini jersey with the Knights Lance guy on a patch. That is the only thing I could find. I wasn’t totally sure what I was looking for when you said the following image and did not include an image. Hoefully I am correct! Thanks for the contest!

  104. OK, there seems to be at least a little confusion on what we’re looking for so I’ll explain more here. When you click on an image in a post, WordPress should take you to a carousel-style gallery that allows you to scroll through the images left to right. Each image that appears in that gallery has a name that appears in white letters under the image. The image name that appears under the scavenger hunt image is what we’re looking for. Thanks again for the terrific response so far. This is going to be an epic contest.

    1. Hey Tracy, I corrected my answer earlier a few minutes after I realized what I should have been looking for as an image. I was alittle confused at what we were looking for so will you take my second response as my true answer? My first post was at 11:55 and my second post was a 12:00. I hope I am not disqualified. We scrolled each gallery 5 times each and we are pretty sure we were supposed to look for your Panini Black Friday image, right? Hopefully that’s right, because we couldn’t find anything hidden inside a card itself. So hopefully this is right because we will be so mad at ourselves if we messed up.   203. Hey Tracy I got a Kyrie Irving Patch Auto out of the black friday packs, but it is missing the auto. On the back it says “this autograph is guaranteed by panini…” I love the cards but do you think this one can be replaced or fixed? Also it has the black friday logo as the patch is that a 1/1?

    1. Is not that easy with a computer, my sons and I look for 79 minutes ( we took the time with my phone) and we can’t find the pic. we are going to take a 30minutes break and back to the hunt. this is a great idea for some family time my kids loved.
