Panini Unwrapped: Previewing the Official 2011-12 NHL Sticker & Album Collection

For any number of reasons, Wednesday was a good day inside Panini America headquarters. Primarily, though, the feel-good vibe permeating the company's marketing department two days ago can be traced to one thing and one thing only: The arrival of the 2011-12 NHL Sticker & Album Collection.

  1. Just like the football ones my son collects, i do to, but only the rookies i put into albums, this is a great idea for families. And an EA prize is always a fun chase.

  2. Love the “Create Your Own Sticker” addition. I collect these books with my son (5 years old now), and he’ll go crazy when he gets a sticker with his picture on it. Keep it up Panini!

  3. Mike Richards….formerly of the Flyers 😉 You’re thinking Brad Richards of the Stars. Still pains me to see him in a Kings jersey.

  4. A trip to see the All-Star game is awesome if it’s true lol. This product looks pretty awesome and I love how cheap it is. Also, the chance to nab a copy of NHL 12 is sweet too.

  5. Put last years album together and had a lot of fun with it with my son. Any place where we can get a checklist of the stickers in this years set?

  6. I’d buy that for a dollar!!! I have a feeling this is going to be a banner year for all things Hockey from Panini. I’ve played the demo of NHL 12 on my PS3 and it is great! Having the full game would be awesome! Thanks for the contest!

  7. Great to see a little more involvement this year for the sticker set. Discounting one or two seasons off, this is one of the longest-running yearly products in the hobby!

  8. haha i’m glad someone else noticed he said “Mike Richards previously from the stars”.
Looks like a cool product though!

  9. Aw, still no sign of these in the big retail stores in Colorado. Would love to do this with my son, but would rather not have to order packs each time by mail.
