  1. Do you guys really think that boxes containing either 1 auto and 2 relics or 2 autos and 1 relic are “a lot” for this price point? I’m not trying to be a jerk, but it doesn’t to me. Maybe this is why I find myself spending fewer and fewer amounts of money on this hobby these days.

  2. Those cards look awesome! Can’t wait to pick up a couple of boxes! May have to build that Legends Patch Auto set, amazing looking cards! Great Job Guys!

  3. Very cool designs. Retro is always good. The die cuts are a nice little wrinkle. The jersey placement on the D. Wade looks a bit half hazardly, but the Dumas card looks pretty sweet. I can’t agree with you more about the duos cards. They look sweet.

All in all, Donruss Basketball looks like a solid product that offers collectors a few of the little things that have gone missing over the past decade from the hobby.

  4. I don’t buy as much Basketball as football and hockey but have been fortunate from the ones I have… last year I bought the basic Panini and pulled an auto Brandon Jennings which was super and a good rookie to pull to top it off …….I always like the retro look and it looks like you have done an incredible job with this product….it always seems the more collectors get the more they want……….the multiple shaped die cuts a plus along with the prism’s……..the basic mem cards are all right but the patch auto to be expected looks super……..the auto rookies very nice I like the whitish fade behind the auto so that it pops……

  5. Was really hoping the two Milwaukee Bucks I collect would be in this product since it was a rather large checklist for each team, but they aren’t in it 🙁

Is Donruss replacing the regular Panini Basketball from last season or is there still going to be a Panini Basketball released later in the year?? Last years came out in I believe October

      1. Sweet looking forward to it

Haha Adrenalyn would probably be a rather boring break to tape since there aren’t really any “hits” in the product, though could possibly show in the video how to play the game?

  6. Anything with the ’84 Donruss design is ok in my book. That is such an iconic set and really translates well to b-ball. The relic and autos are cool but this is a set I think I would pick up to build the base set above anything else.

Any plans to pull back any other designs? If so ’90 baseball gets my vote, you can never have enough sets with a splatter plaint motif.

  7. Looks like a very nice set collector friendly product. I was on the fence but I think I’m now all in. The most disappointing aspect appears to be player coverage. Panini definitely needs to come out with a 10+ player per team product – is base Panini planned for a mid/late season release with updated team rosters? Coach cards haven’t been done in a while. I’d be all over that and you can even bring on the stickers (my kids really liked the glow-in-the-dark team logos last year)!

  8. like the look of this set but really feel you guys should make some products that arent all the same. I like some of these products but they all look and feel the same.

  9. what happens to the cards you pull ??? My Detroit Piston collection screams for the Dumas jersey auto card ..but due to low print run and lack of funds to continue to break the product..my collection still lacks the card
