  1. Great Video, The Cards Look Awesome! I have only opened one pack so far from our local shop The Rookie-DSM, Iowa. But I did pull a Mark Scheifele Auto Card #69. Lets just say it wont be the last pack I open! Keep up the great work Panini!

  2. I think its great that Panini decided to number the rookie auto cards this year the last few years i thought that was one of the big misses in Contenders!!! Also they decided to put booklet cards and memorabilia in there as well is a huge plus!!! I love the way that Brandon Saad card looks with the black back ground and silver ink, SMOKIN!!!!! Thanks Tracy for given us a look at the new Contenders!! You got the life bro!!!

  3. Great looking stuff!! The cup contenders alone is enough to drool over. I love the fact the cards are black with the signature and patch standing right out! I don’t know how I missed this video yesterday. i love Panini Unwrapped!
Are you guys going to incorporate the patch autos in future baseball and Football products for Contenders?? That would be great as well.

  4. While I do agree that serial-numbering the cards is a great plus it also shows that with signed RC’s out of 800 there are substantially more this year then last (499). It begs the question why make more this year then last ? The product itself has taken a beating because of release delays plus it costs more this year, has less autos per box, less packs per box and less hits per box then last year. I do however like the card design over last years.

  5. Very happy with what you’ve done with this year’s Contenders hockey product. I’ve broken several boxes and have come away with some pretty sweet pulls so far…a nudge, roy triple patch auto and a triple auto. Keep up the great job and innovations on the hockey card products fellas…2 Thumbs up from this collector 🙂
