Photos Set to Steal the Show in 2011 Gridiron Gear Football Game Breakers Insert

The search for new and compelling content to share with readers of The Knight's Lance is a tireless pursuit that knows no bounds. So even though were still almost two months away from the release of 2011 Gridiron Gear Football, I couldn't help but show you what I discovered about that product today.

The search for new and compelling content to share with readers of The Knight’s Lance is a tireless pursuit that knows no bounds. So even though were still almost two months away from the release of 2011 Gridiron Gear Football, I couldn’t help but show you what I discovered about that product today.

While the attractive base set for 2011 Gridiron Gear Football will be vertically oriented, the 30-card Game Breakers insert flips that notion on its ear with a deft horizontal twist that showcases to stunning effect some essential football card photography.

With a vertically designed card, you simply don’t realize how much atmosphere you miss on any given play of any given Sunday. Seeing the same play on a horizontal format tends to give a collector an entirely new point of view — figuratively and literally.

These Game Breakers cards drive that point home beautifully. Perhaps this gallery will give you something to look forward to while you await next week’s release of 2011 Absolute Memorabilia Football (move coverage on that juggernaut is coming soon, by the way), knowing all the while just a little of what to expect in the late-November release of Gridiron Gear.

  1. Sweet design!! giv es a great angle of the field! I actuallt remember some of these moments because of the shot. hard for me to see the eagles cards because i remember how that game went against the giants….desean jackson is all i need to say. like the nicks. but the overall look of theses makes up for the eagles cards. All of them are a highlight captured in time!!

absolutely cant wait for more absolute memorabilia viewings!
