Panini America On Location: Farewell from the 2011 Pop Warner Super Bowl

December 11, 2011

[wpvideo zfTjL46D]The final day of Pop Warner Super Bowl championship games took place yesterday at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at the Walt Disney World Resort.  To say the championship games were exciting would be an understatement.  From an overtime thriller to an impressive aerial display in the final day’s game – it was a day these young athletes won’t soon forget.  Oh, and the day wouldn’t be complete without some Panini sticker albums and trading cards finding its rightful place amid the buzz.

Here’s a brief recap of the final day of action from the Division I Pop Warner Super Bowl:

  • Jr. Pee Wee Division:  the first game of the day was an overtime nail-biter with the Sweetwater Ravens narrowly edging the Beacon House Falcons 13-7 in double overtime.
  • Pee Wee Division: the Marshall Heights Bison took home the Pee Wee Super Bowl trophy with a decisive 34-6 victory over the East Bay Wildcats.
  • Jr. Midget Division:  the third game of the championship day featured two determined teams – the White Oak Warriors and Virginia Beach Mustangs – with the Warriors taking home the crown with a 34-30 victory in the back-and-forth battle.
  • Midget Division:  a high-powered aerial attack proved to be too much for the Northwest Raiders, as a talented quarterback/wide receiver duo from the Florida City Panthers teamed to produce 28 points, including an impressive 91-yard touchdown pass and catch.

As always, Panini America was behind the scenes every step of the way.  Enjoy some of the sights and sounds from the final day on location in Orlando.
