Pylon Pile-On: A Collector Imagines an Aaron Rodgers Super Bowl Masterpiece

Turns out our post last week highlighting the recent arrivals at Panini America headquarters -- most notably those nifty, neon-orange end zone pylons used during Super Bowl XLV -- sparked an idea from Sergio Dubois, major domo of the cool football collecting blog Busting Packs.

Turns out our post last week highlighting the recent arrivals at Panini America headquarters — most notably those nifty, neon-orange end zone pylons used during Super Bowl XLV — sparked an idea from Sergio Dubois, major-domo of the cool football collecting blog Busting Packs.

As you can see from the visually stunning Aaron Rodgers creation above, Dubois, a creative dude whose collecting interests are focused intently on players from the University of Florida and Baylor University, helped us all envision just what those pylons might look like incorporated in a card set.

You can get Dubois’ complete take on those pylons here. Oh, and just in case we couldn’t get Rodgers to sign on-card autographs for his mythical, pylon-padded creation, Dubois also whipped up a version using sticker autographs. You can enjoy that version below.
