QC Check: Exploring the Enchanting Effects of 2010-11 Totally Certified Basketball

For most hoops collectors, next week’s arrival of 2010-11 Totally Certified Basketball is being most eagerly anticipated for its inclusion of the pioneering Panini HRX video trading cards.

But for those of us who were on location Friday afternoon at the Panini America printing facility quality controlling the first boxes off the production line, it was stunningly obvious that HRX will be but one must-see piece of the equation.

Turns out that virtually every other card we’ve seen so far from Totally Certified — a completely mesmerizing concoction of content, collectibility and cool — has been a bona fide head-turner. See exactly what we mean by taking some quality time to peruse the below gallery.

The technologically dazzling product displays the company’s continued emphasis on securing on-card signatures, and delivers two autographs and four memorabilia cards per six-pack box.

Stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance in the coming days for additional coverage of Friday’s field trip to the production facility, including video and more photos from Totally Certified, 2010-11 Dominion Hockey and 2010-11 National Treasures Basketball.

Now, to the eye candy . . .

  1. Damn, waiting in suspense for these, the inserts look sick

Also, what does panini do with the quality control cards after they’re done with them? Do they put them back into packs if the cards look good or destroy them? Jus wondering

  2. wow really cool cards.best product so far for me.and it has 1 sheed card in it 🙂
do the Fabrics of the game prime patches look like the regular jersey cards? i mean with the players number on the card or without?

  3. I’m confused, Panini says Totally Certified comes out next week, but every online card store says July 7th, which is it? not to mention Panini’s website has out of date release info, Gold Standard came out on the June 22 eh?

  4. I absolutly love the Evan Turner jersey auto. The colors and layout of the card are so unique!
