Hey, remember earlier this week when I brought you that early look at 2010-11 Donruss Hockey? Turns out those were retail quality control cases yielding those sneak peeks. On Wednesday, Panini America Hockey Brand Manager Al Muir and Assistant Brand Manager Clint Hall had the pleasure of quality controlling two hobby cases of the highly anticipated product that releases next week.

One of the highlights of the process for me: Getting a glimpse of our breathtaking Fans of the Game card featuring Pamela Anderson. Turns out I’m a fan of hers.
Rest assured that there were other highlights. Like the almost-as-attractive Rated Rookies, a sweet die-cut certified autograph card the Dallas Stars‘ Steve Ott and the prominently displayed old-school Donruss “D.”
Here, see for yourself . . .
Looking pretty good. Can’t wait to get my hands on some of this stuff.
Alot of people are ravinb about the Rated Rookies coming back. Here’s the full product information for 2010/11 Donruss HK.

Love the auto Rated Rookies!
Loving this product, good design, strong value and content top to bottom and of course my personal favorite, the Fans of the Game cards!
Between this and Score and it is pure hockey card bliss. I am so excited to finally introduce my son to wax for the first time in his life. I never wanted to waste my money letting him rip UD products which offer horrid return on your investment. At least with these products even if he doesn’t hit autograph or memorabilia “gold” he will get aesthetically pleasing cards and very attractive inserts all at a super reasonable price point. And the look of the cards alone will make him happy, he doesn’t need to hit a 10,000 card, just a few cards of his favorite team. Who knew the simplest sets could evoke the best emotions about the hobby again.
Taking retro and nostalgia-type products and making the “old” “new” again is always good when it’s done right.
Panini has done it right, excellent work folks.
