  1. These look great!! The colossal patch pieces look awesome! I see you have Hakeem Olojuwon on here? Is Patrick Ewing part of this set?

  2. Those logoman of Bird and English are sick! and I LOVE that George Mikan patch!!!! I might have to try and track one of those down.

I’m not big into basketball, just select old schoolers like bird and Mikan…but I was wondering…why does’nt Panini add autographs to those NBA logo man cards? I know they’re big name guys so they don’t come cheap…but for the cost of one of those the value it would add to those cards would make for even bigger hits if you were so lucky as to pull one of them yourself?

With the design of them featuring a kind’ve faded look from the waist down it almost looks as if there should’ve been an autograph attached somewhere down there….

    They’re wicked great singles either way….but sprinkling an autograph on a card never hurts =}

    1. Good feedback, Geoff. It is appreciated. Many or most of the Logoman cards will have autographs — both on-card and stickers. The pre-packout process is designed to ensure that all cards that make packout are of the quality that we want.

      1. Ohh…I missed that little word “pre”. I guess my mind just assumed is was the official packout for the release. my bad.

I don’t normally buy alot of panini basketball stuff(I’m mostly hockey), but I’ll be watching for those specific logoman cards….hopefully with autograph!

  3. Those Gold logomen cards are amazing, as is the Larry Bird!

I am really looking forward to this set and its shaping up to be one of the best releases of the last few years! Keep up the good work!

    Cheers

  4. Hi Tracy, do you know whether the Phil Jackson dual auto’s with Pippen and Rodman will live pack releases or redemption cards?

      1. No worries champ! glad to see you here – always remember reading your beckett basketball monthly articles in the 90’s man.

      2. Haha nah i’m older lol. Yeah remember also watching a clip of you not so long ago interviewing somebody who had just purchased a Jordan rookie 1984 rookie jersey for 20k. You must have plenty of fun at your job i bet ya!

  5. Wow!
    I love the logoman style.
To be honest that pushes me to purchase this product since it seems the logoman are not all of the same style. I also like the on card autos a lot… My issues with stickers seems to be a never ending battle but I will put it aside for the time being. After I open my first 3 cases I will give a final verdict but so far I am going to be deep into this run of NT.
    Great job!
I love the new style of RPAS as well keep up the good work!

  6. WOW! Looks pretty impressive… That George Mikan card is neat, he was a HUGE building block for what the game is today. My grandpa got a chance to play against him coming out of college.
I like how they are incorporating the NBA ‘Go Green’ campaign on the jersey logo card there (with dirk and jason). that will be something really neat to see on a couple different player cards!
