Panini America officials on Wednesday lifted some of the mystery surrounding the scarcity of several retail-only rookie autograph inserts in the recently released 2016 Prizm Football. Astute collectors have discovered by now the relatively short-printed nature of the Pink Prizm (exclusive to Target Premium boxes), Green Prizm (exclusive to retail packs), Flash Prizm (exclusive to Blaster Boxes) and Red, White & Blue Disco Prizm (exclusive to Multipacks) rookie autograph inserts.

But up to now, just exactly how short-printed those chases are remained a looming question. Today, Panini America provides the answers. As it turns out, some of these ink-graced parallels are quite scarce. Stay tuned after the jump for complete details.
In short . . .
The Pink Rookie Prizm Autographs are limited to roughly 100 copies of each card.
The Green Rookie Prizm Autographs are limited to 26 copies of each card.
The Flash Rookie Prizm Autographs are limited to 14 copies of each card.
The Red, White & Blue Disco Rookie Prizm Autographs are limited to just 11 copies of each card.
We hope you find this information helpful.
Thanks a heap !
Any info to offer on the Retail only Red’s and Blue’s. Great to see retail has great value.
Any information on the retail red and blue prizm parallels?
Great hope Panini continues to release information about print runs. It helps out alot when determining a value for trade or sale. Still waiting on the print run information for the 2016 Black Friday autos. Hoping my Messi is super super super super short printed.
Thanks for releasing these! Good to know what sort of availability they are. On a quasi related note, was the Red White & Blue auto for Brett Hundley in 15 Prizm SP or SSP’ed? It’s the only non-Finite auto I don’t have of either his or Ty Montgomery and I’ve yet to see one even a year later….
Checking with the Product Development folks to see if I can find out.
Just got some information from our Football Product Development team: “Hundley is an SSP and Montgomery is an SP.”
Always great to see additional updates on non-serial numbered SP releases, this should drive some more traffic to retail outlets by collectors seeking these rare variations. Thanks Tracy!
Would also like to know the validity of the red prizm’s(non-auto) being SSP’d to 5, i can’t find any information regarding them and it is floating around the internet and card group communities pretty frequently, please let us know
Got this feedback from our Football Product Development Team: “The Red Prizms (as well as the Blue Prizms) are indeed SSPs, but there are more than 5 copies of each. Not many more than 5, but more than 5.”
Are the non-auto Wave Prizms SSPs? Thanks.
Are there base auto cards in retail Prizm or will all autos be GREEN and limited to 26?
Not sure if it helps but I pulled a disco rookie auto out of a retail of ash Robinson. Not sure if it was a mix up or what but the retail says that it’s supposed to be only base and green
Been waiting for my green prizm zeke to move from pending since 11-16-16…. can’t wait!!
What’s the print run (approximately) on the blue retail parallels?
are the green, pink, flash and disco parallels NON auto SP as well or no? thanks
