CLEVELAND -- With two days in the books at the 2014 National Sports Collectors Convention, this much seems certain: The Panini America booth remains the place to be; a sprawling, inviting, all-encompassing destination filled with wrapper redemptions, live group breaks with the industry's biggest breakers, Box Wars, free kids breaks with Bryan Gavin from Ultimate Box Breaks, the company's live Redemption Trade-Up Program, a Panini Authentic memorabilia section and more. CLEVELAND — With two days in the books at the 2014 National Sports Collectors Convention, this much seems certain: The Panini America booth remains the place to be; a sprawling, inviting, all-encompassing destination filled with wrapper redemptions, live group breaks with the industry’s biggest breakers, Box Wars, free kids breaks with Bryan Gavin from Ultimate Box Breaks, the company’s live Redemption Trade-Up Program, a Panini Authentic memorabilia section and more. Throw in the unparalleled collector interaction and customer service and you’ve got the recipe for one of the most memorable Nationals in quite some time.

And with the sheer amount of heat being pulled at the Panini America booth (from wrapper-redemption packs, the products used to acquire them or group breaks), NSCC officials might want to consider changing the National to a wintertime event.

Away from the I-X Center show floor the first few days, Panini America officials have been extremely busy as well, first with Thursday afternoon’s historic announcement of the company’s exclusive long-time agreement with NFL Players Inc., and then Thursday night at the annual Panini Distributor Dinner featuring legendary special guests — and Hall of Famers — Rod Carew and Bruce Smith.

Stay tuned later today for a complete recap of Panini America’s annual Chalk Talk event. To catch up on the rest of the action from Panini America’s first two days at the 2014 National Sports Collectors Convention, simply take a look below.

  1. Looks like a pretty exciting and hectic couple of days at the booth, everyone looked to be having a great time though. Very interested to see how the rest of the weekend went, thanks Tracy!

  2. The National was awesome!
    Had a couple questions,
The VIP cards given out specifically NBA rookies #/25 (exum, wiggins) are those draft day jersey pieces or draft day hats?
Will there be a checklist that details what the materials are? Thanks!
