Spring Into a Signature Road Trip with Panini Limited Football
If you were going on a long road trip, spring would be a great time to do so. It’s not too hot or cold in most places, and a variety of cities just look beautiful this time of year.
To celebrate the beginning of this wonderful season, let’s go on a journey around the nation. Each stop will be in a city featuring a key player whose signature appears in Panini’s Limited Football 2023 release.
Unlike what Limited Football’s name suggests, this journey won’t be bounded by any limits. Let’s load up the Panini RV and get going on this coast-to-coast card-collecting trek.
Our journey begins out west — the Pacific Northwest to be more specific. In Seattle, they throw fish at Pike Place and sip their Starbucks while discussing what’s in store for Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who’ll certainly be around for longer than a cup of coffee.
Next, let’s head south to make a few stops in California. In San Francisco, the conversations on trolley rides have always featured legends like Joe Montana, Steve Young, and Jerry Rice, and now include Deebo Samuel as well as George Kittle.
Staying in Cali, we visit Los Angeles, where Hollywood’s bright lights take turns spotlighting the spectacular plays made by the Rams’ Puka Nacua and the Chargers’ Justin Herbert, depending on who’s hosting SoFi Stadium.
Before we completely leave the West Coast, let’s make a pit stop in Vegas, where tales of Bo Jackson’s athletic brilliance can be heard from Raiders fans all across the Strip. Unlike defenders, card collectors can get their hands on Bo.
The next stop on our trip will be the Midwest. We’ll visit Kansas City, where wins flow just as much as the BBQ sauce. Chiefs fans are expecting Rashee Rice to help push the dynasty forward.
The rest of the Midwest portion features stops across the storied NFC North. In Detroit, the citizens take pride in Motown, pizza, cars, and now the new-look Lions, spearheaded by the play of offensive weapons Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jahmyr Gibbs and Sam LaPorta.
In Green Bay, we’ll grab some cheese curds and listen to fans explain how Jordan Love is the second coming of Brett Favre. Both No. 10 and No. 4 look mighty fine in your personal collections.
Next, we’ll go to Minnesota. The home of the late great Prince is also where Cris Carter, Adrian Peterson and now Justin Jefferson have all reigned supreme in Vikings’ purple.
In Chicago, you’ll find that before flocks of people came to take IG pics at The Bean, Brian Urlacher was one of the city’s biggest pulls. Speaking of pulls and Instagram moments, Limited Football features bundles of snap-worthy inserts.
Before we leave the region, let’s head to Indianapolis. Football has done a great job staying relevant in an area known for racing history and basketball pedigree, thanks to Peyton Manning and pace-pushing youngster Anthony Richardson dotting up the field.
Heading east, we stop in Baltimore, where Old Bay is taken as seriously as the football. Ed Reed helped bring a brand of toughness to “Charm City” and Zay Flowers is looking to add some spice to it.
Going to the Southeast corner of the map, we’ll pause in Georgia, where Bijan Robinson brings the heat in “Hotlanta,” before heading down to Miami. There, the waves on South Beach are the only thing that can cool down the speedy duo of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.
Our journey concludes back west in Dallas, where some of the biggest names in the sport have suited up for the game’s biggest brand. Autos from Deion Sanders, DeMarcus Ware and Calvin Hill can all be yours in Limited.
