All these years later, Panini America’s Elite Extra Edition Baseball remains one of the best bang-for-the-buck, value-delivered products in the sports card universe — and tomorrow’s release of 2014 Elite Extra Edition Baseball promises to be no different. This year’s edition — like all of those that have come before — is packed with some of baseball’s brightest prospects and an abundance of their autographs.

Each hobby box of 2014 Elite Extra Edition Baseball should deliver at least six autographs, but many will yield even more. Randomly inserted Hot Boxes (roughly three per 20-box case) will provide a staggering 10 autographs. Earlier today, we ripped through one early box of the product in advance of tomorrow’s release to produce the following Teaser Gallery that takes you pack by pack through the EEE experience.

This particular box, while not officially a Hot Box, delivered eight autographs (including four on-card and one Red Ink short print), one USA Baseball memorabilia card, four die-cut parallels and five additional inserts. Check it out in the gallery below and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for continued coverage of 2014 Elite Extra Edition Baseball.

    1. Just got this information from our baseball product folks:

There are only 95 cards in the base set. Rusney Castillo is not part of the base set, but is card #67 in the Autographed Prospects and parallels.
