  1. This stuff is unreal. Waaaaaay better than Michael Jackson and Beiber. Grew up listening to the Beach Boys and will always be a fan. Now with this, gonna have to blow some change to pick up a lot of this. Great work with the etched cards and the die cuts! Oh, autos and relics don’t hurt the product either!

  2. Very cool, I will definitely be getting a box for my father-in-law who is a huge beach boys fan.
How hard are autographs to pull?

  3. This looks like an awesome product. Even though you didn’t pull any, the pick cards are super awesome! As an artist, I’d really like to see some original artwork in these.

Do a Led Zeppelin set next!

  4. It’s a nice set, I love the psychedelic Beach Boys. It’s cool to pull a Brian Wilson auto, if there is any?
I hope you’ll feature Pink Floyd and other great bands of the 60’s and 70’s soon.
    Well done guys

  5. Nice set! I love the chance to get autographs of classic entertainers, and the memorabilia swatches are nice and colorful. I much prefer swatches like that over a single color swatch of t-shirt, or something similar.

As far as future sets, I would love to see Pink Floyd, David Bowie, or the Stones!

  6. We “love” Mike 😉 The concert gear is sweet, and I like the realistic-looking On the Records. Hope I can find these cards, will be looking starting tomorrow! Since Beatles stuff might be tricky to license, how about these guys that should have wide appeal? Chicago, Crosby-Stills-Nash-Young, Fleetwood Mac, U2.

  7. Vey cool set indeed! I love the shirt relics. They give the brand a nice flavor. The base cards are nice and clean cut which is perfect for me when I’m looking to buy non sports trading cards. And the autos are definetly a nice touch as well. Thanks for the contest!

  8. I like the membrobilia cards and that there is a Brian Wilson auto’s. The gold albums die cut cards are a cool insert.
You guys need to do a “greatful dead” set with autos and membrobilia. That I would buy a case or 2 of!

  9. I think that these cards are pretty cool and will probably have to buy a box or two. I was talking to my mom and I told her about these cards and she got so excited being that her favorite group when she was growing up was The Beach Boys. She told me to let her know when I see some of them and buy her some packs. My mom has never collected any kind of cards but was certainly involved with my three younger brothers and I while we were growing up collecting all kinds of sports cards.

  10. Nice looking set. Lots of interesting subsets/inserts/etc. Looking forward to a Rock Groups set with Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and the like (hint, hint).. Nice offering with this set.

  11. I like the mix of B&W and color photography. Box design is nice, Good variety of inserts.

For a suggestion, and I know this would be a complicated licensing issue, but instead of a specific group, how about a trading card set of a particular time period’s groups? Like “the 60s” the “90s” etc. Or perhaps “heavy metal”, “punk rock”, “British invasion”, etc.,,,A little more variety, but I do understand the challenge of compiling a set like that!

    Thanks for another great contest.

  12. it would be absolutely amazing if you could do a Pink Floyd set. The number of inserts you could do would be amazing. Event Used cards from “The Wall” movie, simple relic cards, props from their concerts, pieces of promo posters, etc. Autographs could be current for any of the number of producers/artists/guests they used. The hot cards could be cut autos from Syd Barrett, Richard Wright, and Storm Thorgenson. Inserts for the iconic album covers they had, their solo projects, and their monumental tours. So many ideas!

  13. This product seems to be so much better than your earlier releases of for example Justin Bieber, One Direction or Michael Jackson. The design is absolutely perfect for a band like Beach Boys, and even if I’m a bit too young to have been through the most crazy years of the band’s history, I’m sure this is a product which can bring back a lot of memories to a large amount of people. The fact that you pull two memorabilia cards in a box is pretty great as well, how historical isn’t that, to own something that almost would have fit in a museum? The Beach Boys is a timeless band, and this will most probably be a timeless product.

  14. Like that you can get autos of these guys on cards. Also dig the guitar picks in retail. Waiting to see those show up. First music related name to pop in my head- Jimmy Buffett. Stepping in another direction…perhaps some redos of popular movies/movie series- Star Wars (of course), Star Trek, Alien(s), Indiana Jones, Transformers, etc.

  15. Busted three boxes today. Fun times, no autos but love the cards. Would have busted some more but that was all the local had inventory. Hit a dupe of Al. Hey Tracy can I trade my dupe of Jardine for your Wilson? You can always dream!

  16. Way cool. 😀
It’s a fun set, and I like the Concert Gear cards a lot.

Other bands I’d like to see get full sets – The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Queen, Metallica, Eagles. U2, Bon Jovi, Fleetwood Mac, Dave Matthews Band, Chicago, The Who, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Santana, and Van Halen. I’m leaving off the list bands like Pink Floyd and Guns N Roses where I think there would be contractual nightmares, as well as a certain band that one of your competitors did 4 years ago.

I think some solo artists could also be featured as subsets in a larger set – Neil Diamond, Elton John, Billy Joel, Pat Benatar, Barry Manilow, Phil Collins, Rod Stewart, David Bowie, Tom Jones, and George Michael all come to mind as people who could be a significant part of a large set (perhaps a 200 card base set with 50 cards each of 4 legends, and inserts/hits from each one).

The one I’d most like to see is Weird Al Yankovic. Think of the memorabilia cards that could be produced.

      1. Someone produced Weird Al cards. He performed at a local casino and as I walked by his merchandise table, they had packs of them. Didn’t get any closer to see where they were from

  17. I’m sure it’d be tough to fill, but it’d be cool to have a “modern rock” set. Just have cards of bands from the past few years, etc

  18. I know we said we were going to give away five boxes. But since we made you wait so long to determine winners, well, we’re giving away 10. Thanks to everyone for the great feedback and congratulations to our 10 winners: Peter Lee, scoochnew, Keith S., hockeykazi, Filip P., jumper48, Joe Mondo, Ryan E., Nick Mikulicich Jr., and Ron. Thanks again. Winners, we’ll be in touch to receive your mailing addresses.

  19. The 2013 Panini The Beach Boys cards definitely send you Good Vibrations. The concert gear and on the record cards are literally out of this world. Anyone will have some definite Good Timin’ opening up this product by Panini!
