You can feel the excitement in the air; the mounting anticipation that accompanies the release of any National Treasures release. As you read this, the entire collecting world is eagerly anticipating the arrival of the already-shipped 2014 National Treasures Football. As is always the case, one of Panini America’s flagship products is poised to close the NFL collecting season with a resounding bang.

Although boxes of any National Treasures release are crazy-hard to come by, we managed to get our hands on two boxes of 2014 National Treasures Football earlier this week. Today, as you prepare to ease into the long Easter weekend, we thought we’d use those two boxes to take you card by card through the scintillating National Treasures experience.

A product so in demand that even the empty boxes by themselves are collectible, National Treasures is once again loaded this season with a virtually unrivaled mix of rich autograph and memorabilia content, high-end designs and a checklist boasting the greatest legends, biggest superstars and hottest rookies in the game.

Enjoy the following Teaser Gallery — which provides a small two-box glimpse into the product — and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for additional coverage of 2014 National Treasures Football.

  1. Awesome! In what other product can I find something as cool and unique as sticker autos and single color swatches! Only $450 a box?!? Sign me up for a three cases!

  2. Digging some of the subtle design changes in this year’s release so far like the frame on the base cards and the stadium in the background of the Carey auto. Can’t wait to see more, thanks Tracy!

  3. Nice looking design.. But high priced football is such an awful value… Stuff like this should be 200 a box

  4. The Garoppolo auto patch is a work of art.
I recognize the price tag is gaudy and it’s not for everyone, present commenter included, but there are NO other products like NT. It’s just… unique.
    Beautiful.

  5. I picked 4 teams in a group break without seeing a checklist, I hope it works out for me….I sure enjoy checklists.

  6. What do you guys do with these cards. If they just sit there. A valued collector that’s 13 years old with no money will take em
