With the long-awaited return of the venerable Pinnacle Baseball brand now just two days away, it's time to assume full ramp-up mode in advance of Wednesday's official release date. To that end, we grabbed one golden early box of 2013 Pinnacle Baseball earlier this afternoon and opened it to our heart's content. Twenty-four packs, 192 cards and an immeasurably pleasurable bust.

All of Pinnacle’s true-to-roots greatest hits are in the new 2013 edition, including Artist Proofs, Museum Collection parallels, the Dufex-inspired Nufex and much, much more. Oh, the product also includes the first Panini America Rookie Cards of Los Angeles phenom Yasiel Puig.
In the following teaser gallery, we take you pack-by-pack through one box to give you an idea of what you can expect when the product arrives on Wednesday. Enjoy this sneak peek and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for additional updates on 2013 Pinnacle Baseball.
I saw a Wil Myers in there. That’s what I want!
Wow, this product looks awesome. So many sick inserts to go along with the hits!
great looking..hope i can pick up a few packs
I really like these pack by pack and card by card galleries. You really get a good feel for what a box brings overall. Will be away for a few days when these come out but will definitely have to get some once I get back.
Great looking insert cards!!!
Wow! I love this product! A few retail jumbo packs of this will make me super happy! It might take some getting used to the no MLB teams or logos… Are you guys making progress to get the license?
PLEASE do this product for football this year. These cards look great. Love Panini bringing back the etching inserts.
I love those Bruce and Votto inserts. I want those now!
Loving the inserts. Glad to see a product go back to its roots of the 90’s. That’s what I want!!
And saying that the NUFEX is just spectacular!
Looks like a fun break, some solid value and nice designs along the way. Thanks Tracy!
Panini typically has the best looking products. I am a big fan. Of this set, however, I am not. The fact people but this is an addendum to how badly people crave new products. Prizm looks horrid with stickers, people still purchased.
Reviews here give one a feeling that if Panini packaged plain cardboard with stripes, it would be “sick”.
Appreciate your perspective and opinion, but couldn’t disagree more on Prizm. I have come to know over the years that the beauty of any product from any manufacturer is truly in the eye of each individual collector. And if you asked 10 different collectors what the best-looking product of the season is, you’re likely to get 10 different answers.
Thanks again for the feedback.
Appreciate the response, Panini is far and away the best brand. It’s not close (username is ironic). Is there any chance of crown royal baseball? Those silhouettes would look great.
Andy prizm comment isn’t geared at the set, it’s geared at sticker autos.
Got my Yasiel Puig rook!!! And a lot of inserts. Beckett says 29 insert /hobby box, I got 34. Luck?
