Teaser Gallery: Panini America Busts Three Early Boxes of 2012 Limited Football

When we posted the Quality Control Gallery for 2012 Limited Football earlier this week on The Knight's Lance, I said at the time that this year's version was one of the most spectacular editions of the venerable brand ever. And after busting three random boxes of the product yesterday for the express purpose of the following teaser gallery, I feel even better about it.

  1. Love the base card shine! My favorite in the previews and here are the rookie phenoms and jumbo jerseys. well designed.

Who is the redemption of? Cant read it on my phone lol

      1. Wow…thats a nice hit then! Forgot to also say the Blue Chip design is very well done. I like the blue faded player in the background.

On another note, sorry about the Bronco loss yesterday man. That was shocking and I would put the blame on two things. One not letting Peyton work with 30 secs left in the game and the defense did not show up.

  2. The cards look great. Those patches are awesome. Too bad the Alfred Morris isn’t live, that would be a sweet card to see. The RPA’s are stunning, but I preferred the team name instead of “phenom.” Great to see that Willie Brown, and I’m eager to see the checklist for retired player autos. Excellent work on this product.

  3. i love the phenom patch auto’s! the jumbo rookie patches look sweet too! cant wait to bust a box of limited! this has always been my favorite box from panini!

  4. I’m not sure what the alternative is and I do appreciate being able to see these but wouldn’t that Ray Lewis 9/10 be better served in a customers hand? The Russell Wilson patch? You get my point. Like I said I’m glad we get to preview these and other sets as it helps as to whether or not you want to buy them. Big help for box breaks to. But jeez those are to nice not to be in someone else’s hands. That being said, great job on these! Sharp, Simple!

  5. Awesome cards and really looking forwards to buying some as they are available…please, please lmk if there is anyway to purchase or get ahold of the Ray Lewis and Russell Wilson cards in this lot. I am working on a great collection of Lewis Autos/GU. Wilson, I just think he is the next great and looking even better than Luck and RGIII!!

  6. Great work Panini! I REALLY Love those jumbo patces. The Russel Wilson would be the centerpiece of anyone’s collection. Looking forward to the Panini Unwrapped Episode:)

  7. Loving the jumbo materials! That Ray Lewis patch is a sweet-pull also! I like what I’m seeing outof this 3-box break. Nice array of autos, memorabilia and limited numbering.

  8. Another winner on your hands here.
    My favorites:
    1. Membership Autos (great insert)
    2. Inked
    3. Game Used Helmets (been wanting this for a long time, will compete in my mind with racing sheet metal.)

I am excited with the mix of vets and rookies here and hope the trend to mix them continues. Don’t get me wrong, I like the Rookies, but I love getting hits from players I grew up watching.

    Big time pleaser here.

    Thanks!

PS. Just a heads up, everytime I launch the image gallery, I can’t scroll on the blog anymore, and have to refresh of hit the back button a few times.

  9. I especially liked the artistic first few shots of the pack coming out of the box, then being opened. Very dramatic!! Looks good overall. Comes out next week??

  10. VERY impressed by this product, I’m looking forward to seeing it broken more by the members of the YouTube community. Maybe I’ll break my drought and get into a GB somewhere along the way. Thanks for the preview gallery Tracy, sorry your Broncos didn’t win!

  11. That Ray lewis is nice.My fave linebacker of all time, hate that he is retiring next season.Hope he gets another ring before he goes that would be awesome and his sports card stock will skyrocket in price and sales.

  12. I absolutely LOVE Limited. This has always been my favorite product. The look of this product this year is outstanding. The Phenoms Patch Auto’s are surpassed by none. It seems like every box of Limited has a quality hit! I’m dying to know what that Morris redemption card looks like.

  13. I sure hope Brian Quick plays better next year! That patch is nasty and the Crown Silloutte I pulled at AAA Collectables in Matthews, NC was nasty too! I pulled a redemption for Wrights Silloutte, and I have purchased trich, and martins silloutte redemptions! Are any of these ready yet?

  14. so happy to see these every year…luv Limited..great amount of time spent on this years design..good job guys !!!
