The abundance of old-school collecting qualities inherent in Panini America's 2013 Hometown Heroes Baseball has been well-documented over the last few weeks here on The Knight's Lance. Finally, after the autograph sneak peeks and the revealing Quality Control Gallery, we finally got the chance this afternoon to break open one thoroughly entertaining 12-pack box.

This particular box unexpectedly over-delivered on two of the most enjoyable aspects of the product — on-card autographs and the legendarily lenticular SportDiscs. The box promises three of each; this box yielded four of each, including a beautiful Mark Grace autograph limited to just 25. You can check out all the hits — including a bevy of border-color, State and Zip Code variations — in the following Teaser Gallery that takes you pack by jumbo pack through one box. Enjoy.
A very colorful and fun release!
Not bad, nice variety of inserts and some interesting autographs as well. Thanks Tracy!
Very nice looking cards. I will be looking for these at my local card shop.
Reminds me of Past & Present Basketball. Like the fun design and the lenticular discs, reminds me of sportflics!
