The abundance of old-school collecting qualities inherent in Panini America’s 2013 Hometown Heroes Baseball has been well-documented over the last few weeks here on The Knight’s Lance. Finally, after the autograph sneak peeks and the revealing Quality Control Gallery, we finally got the chance this afternoon to break open one thoroughly entertaining 12-pack box.

This particular box unexpectedly over-delivered on two of the most enjoyable aspects of the product — on-card autographs and the legendarily lenticular SportDiscs.
