As if last week’s two-case Quality Control preview of Panini America’s new 2014-15 Gold Standard Basketball wasn’t enough of a table-setter for the product’s release tomorrow, we’re back today with a card-by-card breakdown of four early boxes. Most 10-card boxes of 2014-15 Gold Standard Basketball will deliver four autograph or memorabilia cards, although many will deliver five autograph cards. Each box also will yield one micro-etched parallel and, as a whole, the product is brimming with other short-printed parallels and the return of popular veteran player variations.

  1. I really like the product.

But what I do not understand is why some players, who were wanted badly by the collectors ,were not in any of your products.

I’ll always ask if Rasheed Wallace will be in the product but I never get an answer on that.other collectors ask for other players too.
I don’t want to sound rude or something but isn’t that what collectors want?
Chasing cards of their favourite players.
All I want is just a base card with some parallels,I do not even want a game Jersey or autograph.but I lose more and more interest in the hobby because there are no new cards to go after.
I mean who wants Ersan Ilyasova in each product ( sorry Sean :-p ) or Dan Issell ? Why not put players into the checklist who are collected by someone or who is a fan favourite?

Does it have to do anything with the players contracts?

I don’t want to sound negative as I like your products and I break many cases and boxes from panini but I feel really disappointed.
I feel like a 5 year old child when going through a new checklist but then I feel bad since there were no new Sheed cards.

Keep up the good work panini but next time think of me and put Sheed into the checklist 😉

    Ball don’t lie!

    Thanks !

  2. I wonder how many boxes it will take before Panini gets one that comes close to covering the price of a box, so far what 24 boxes and they haven’t gotten close. LOWER YOUR STINKING PRICES! Looks just like last year too

  3. Big fan! Any chance this returns to football?

I am hoping to get my hands onto some of these new releases to review. You guys are putting out some great stuff!
