That’s an essential fact that I didn’t discover until earlier today while breaking the second of two boxes for this Teaser Gallery preview. All I knew before and after the first box was that each hobby box of 2016 Donruss Optic Football delivered, on average, one autograph.
So you can imagine my surprise when the second Teaser Gallery box delivered not one . . . not two . . . not three . . . but four autographs. So after completing the Teaser Gallery process, I immediately consulted Panini America Football Brand Manager Thomas Barchi to gain a little more information. Keep reading to find out what I learned from him . . . and what these two particular boxes delivered.
According to Barchi, four-autograph Hot Boxes fall roughly twice per hobby case. Barchi also confirmed that the redemption card we pulled in the second box, featuring Baltimore Ravens standout rookie running back Kenneth Dixon, is ready to be fulfilled immediately. Dixon returned his cards just after deadline for packout (we’ve included one of the cards just to show you what they look like).
