Teaser Gallery: Panini America Opens Early Boxes of 2013-14 Court Kings Basketball

Tomorrow's highly anticipated release of 2013-14 Court Kings Basketball represents the closest thing the hoops hobby has to a bona fide art exhibit, which makes the following three-box Teaser Gallery something of a night-before-the-big-premiere VIP shindig. Pre-release buzz on 2013-14 Court Kings Basketball has been strong so far -- in part because longtime collectors have been waiting for another standalone Court Kings release since the last one appeared in 2009-10, and in part because what we've seen of the new edition so far has been as promising as it has been colorful.

Tomorrow’s highly anticipated release of 2013-14 Court Kings Basketball represents the closest thing the hoops hobby has to a bona fide art exhibit, which makes the following three-box Teaser Gallery something of a night-before-the-big-premiere VIP shindig. Pre-release buzz on 2013-14 Court Kings Basketball has been strong so far — in part because longtime collectors have been waiting for another standalone Court Kings release since the last one appeared in 2009-10, and in part because what we’ve seen of the new edition so far has been as promising as it has been colorful.

To be sure, Court Kings — in look, feel and execution — is  unlike any other basketball product on the market, what with its painterly pop and brush-stroked nuances. It’s a product that delivers definite eye appeal while also packing a checklist of great autographs, memorabilia cards, and short-printed inserts and subsets. It’s a set that would be right at home in your nearest major metropolitan art museum. Luckily for collectors, though, it’ll be in hobby shops all over North America starting tomorrow.

  1. Loving the look of it. With it being one auto and one memorabilia this product suggest to be a high end product.
Hot boxes will be so lucky.
Will surely pick this one up!
    Thanks Tracy for the preview.

  2. I watched a couple of case breaks and box breaks, really cool looking cards, and most of the boxes had extra hits (11-12 out of the 15 box). Is it the same for all the cases or those were just lucky cases?
