  1. Really erks me that these packs end up on eBay the day of release and folks like myself don’t have access to them because there isn’t a Hobby Shop within a few hundred miles of me. Really disheartening.

    1. If you are able to buy a box, you can always order directly from Panini and get 6-8 packs directly from them (they won’t be picked over like they would at the card shop)

  2. I had to look twice, but I applaud Panini for the Stamkos “decoy” or “spacer” thick card. I know many of us have asked for some kind of spacer or decoy to keep people from cherry-picking the thick mem cards, and it looks like Panini listened. Making a thick version of the regular card also doesn’t ‘waste’ a card in the pack as well. That’s a real plus and I hope it continues in future promo packs (National, Black Friday, etc)

  3. This doesn’t help at all the folks who don’t live near hobby shops. Icollectpanini.com is our only option, and their boxes are all WAY overpriced. For instance they have an America’s Pastime Baseball box at $250, while another well-known store has it at $135. That’s not petty larceny, that’s GRAND THEFT! Makes no sense…

  4. That Tim Thomas looks great. I’d be happy to pull that or the Eric Lindros card. Glad to see you still supporting the hockey fans to the end! Going to open some Rookie Anthology this weekend and grab some packs at my LCS.

  5. If my eyes don’t deceive me, Image 16 depicts a thicker base card of some hockey player, is that correct? If so, I commend you for listening to collectors and adding the “decoys” to discourage pack searching. I’m sure the scum of the collecting world will find a way to discern the difference, but just the effort put in to discourage it is appreciated. Thank you!

  6. When will we know print runs of the lava flow memorabilia cards? I pulled an amazing Kobe and I am dying to know the pr on it!

  7. Sick. Father’s Day, when a man can get some cards without having to hide, shred or otherwise disappear the receipt.
    Loving the hits per pack!

  8. Cant wait to see if I can find some somewhere. i may trust eBay because there seems to be a lot of auto content and they can’t feel out those!

  9. Now that the promo is over can we get some guidance on the lava flow and cracked ice memorabilia and autograph cards?? Can’t wait to get home and in to my packs!!!!
