As far as end-of-the-year celebrations go, tomorrow's should be a grand one in hobby shops across North America. Indeed, fireworks should be in large supply thanks to a flurry of Panini America new releases including 2016 National Treasures Baseball, 2016 Donruss Optic Football, 2016-17 Select Soccer and 2016-17 Gold Standard Basketball. Clearly, 2016 should end with a resounding bang.

We’ve spent these last few days of the year here on The Knight’s Lance previewing all four new releases with a bevy of Quality Control Gallery posts. Today, we enter the Teaser Gallery portion of our previews by taking you inside some early boxes of the respective products, beginning with this post featuring three boxes of 2016 National Treasures Baseball.
One of the most anticipated baseball releases of the year, 2016 National Treasures Baseball delivers a scintillating thrill ride through baseball’s greatest legends, biggest stars and most promising youngsters with an all-thriller, no-filler recipe steeped in rich autograph and memorabilia content. The Teaser Gallery that follows offers quick a glance at just that.
Enjoy the imagery . . .
There were a lot of nice pulls in each box. The Bob Gibson auto is sick. Especially with the tear in the material.
By the time this product comes around, we’ve already seen or gotten five autos of Omar Vizquel or any other name out there. So seeing or hitting any of those guys that Panini got to sign a bunch of stuff for all their products really lessens the WOW factor of hitting them. I wish Panini would only have certain autos in certain products and keep the big names or rare autos for the highend stuff. Autos are being heavily diluted with the number of product out there and seeing the same guys over and over again. Would rather have rare insert chases or base cards.
That multi memo booklet!
Gotta button up to open one of these!
Nice preview, but then Brian Ellington’s card showed up. Stickers have no place in this product…
Solid yield from 3 boxes, that gatefold booklet card is absolutely loaded. Thanks Tracy!
