Each 12-card box of 2013 Black Football will deliver at least three autographs, two memorabilia cards and one of the aforementioned Black Metal cards. It should be noted that some boxes will deliver up to four autographs.
To help kick your week off on the right foot, we busted three early boxes of 2013 Black Football to give you an idea of what to expect from the product. The following Teaser Gallery takes you card-by-card through the experience. Enjoy this first look and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance this week as we bring you coverage of Super Bowl XLVIII (beginning with tomorrow’s Super Bowl Media Day) and the NHL Stadium Series live from New York.
It amazes me that Panini continues to have players for teams that are no longer with said team. Doesn’t anybody keep up with this?
I always enjoy the black product! Keep the hits coming! Aloha from beautiful Hawaii.
So the last box was shorted an auto? Uh Oh!
Not at all. The last box included three autographs.
The keenan allen shadow box and then two others after
Impressive showing…I like it even more than last year. Those shadow box jersey autographs really pop! Will Veterans also have their own version of those cards? Can’t wait to get my hands on this product!
Yes, sir. There are veterans in the Shadow Box Autographs insert.
Panini has the coolest cards I’ve ever seen! Keep up the awesome work! Maybe someday this will be in my price range and in my collection!
Good to see at least one Colts card pulled, great looking product overall. Thanks Tracy!
Keenan Allen got a lot of run in this sample. I like that you were able to get at least some of the autographs on-card, and the shadowbox jerseys are pretty nice-looking. My favorite pull of these boxes, though, would be the Manti Te’o autograph.
I’m ssooo in love with the Shadow Box Jersey Autos!:-) aahhh forget it…who am I trying to fool?… I love ALL #PaniniAmerica cards! Lol #BestAddictionEver 😀
I just cant get enough of looking at those Shadow box cards! Just the coolest concept ever!
awesome love the rpa cards! allen was sick! nice product Panini!!!!
Man how i want that caleb sturgis auto!!!!!!!!!! lol love these cards
Very well done. I liked 2012’s and figured this years will be even better. And boy was I right!
Is that an actual mini jersey in that Keenan Allen Card? That’s pretty cool if it is! I have mini jersey from the 2008 UD Mini Jersey Collection, don’t know what to do with them lol 🙂 One is a backwards Bledsoe name lol I was going to make mini frames for them at one point just never got around to doing it and don’t know how I would tack the jersey on a black felt background. Oh well! LOL Can’t WAIT to get a box of these to try out 🙂 I LOVE the look of this set and would love to build all the Metal Cards and Framed jersey auto cards! THAT would be an achievement!
It’s actually in image of his jersey made to look like it was shadow-boxed — then autographed.
Thanks Tracy! I DO Love the design of them 🙂 Hoping I can raise some $$s to get some 😉 Have a GREAT DAY!!
Are there veteran patches in this? I think last years had pretty big patch pieces, but can remember. Looks nice so far, but need to see some more. Im sure its gonna go over prettty well, last years was nice. Hope the price point stays affordable. The 2012 was so nice, because you could get top rookie autos for a realistic price per box. Keep the price good, and Im sure everyone will like it
Yes, sir. There will be veteran memorabilia in this beauty.
Reblogged this on Locating Frankenstein's Brain.
Tay rookie! Nice!
my favorite looking cards in all business, curious to see this product in hockey. Great work.
Sick cards…love that shadowbox!
Very colorful cards against that black background. I did like last year’s gold ink signatures, but these still look great!
Great looking cards. I was such a fan of Panini Black last year. Let’s hope this is a product line you will keep for years. Looks fantastic.
Any chance Panini is doing a Super Bowl black box promo again this year for the Super Bowl? Been holding off on buying some boxes in anticipation of another awesome promo like you had last season!
We’re not doing one this year, man. But look for it to return next year.
Bummed, but I kinda thought that once we hadn’t heard anything by today. Oh well. Lots of other Panini cards to consider……and not too soon to be thinking about the Father’s day promo!!!
