There's no doubt that the upcoming 2012-13 National Treasures Basketball release is serving to swipe some of the collector focus away from 2012-13 Signatures Basketball, which releases itself in two short days. But with an impeccable ensemble of autograph cards and low-numbered inserts, the all-new Signatures product has more than enough firepower to command attention.
There’s no doubt that the upcoming 2012-13 National Treasures Basketball release is serving to swipe some of the collector focus away from 2012-13 Signatures Basketball, which releases itself in two short days. But with an impeccable ensemble of autograph cards and low-numbered inserts, the all-new Signatures product has more than enough firepower to command attention.
To help collectors understand exactly what they can expect from 2012-13 Signatures Basketball when it releases in two short days, we grabbed five early boxes to provide the following teaser gallery. These particular boxes yielded eight sticker autographs (including one numbered to just three and one numbered to 10), seven on-card autographs and a redemption for an eighth, three inserts numbered to five or less (including one kingly One of One that you’ll have a chance to win in the coming days) and six inserts numbered to 25.
You can see it all in the gallery that follows. And stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance tomorrow for a must-see, double-feature episode of Panini Unwrapped starring 2012-13 Signatures Basketball, 2012-13 Gold Standard Basketball and a sneak peek at 2012-13 National Treasures Basketball.
But that’s tomorrow. Today, we focus squarely on Signatures. Enjoy.
Looks like an awesome product! Nice Lebron one of one! And nice autos and design!
Packaging from Panini are always new and exciting!
That is one reason our empty box are still on display because its like a collectible and it should!
Kudos to team Panini Basketball for that!
Another must have and a beauty from the great Hobby Leader!
Thanks Tracy for the Teaser!
You know we want it!
🙂
Reblogged this on LHAL Sportscards & Collectibles Blog.
Such Clean Design!
Not National Treasures but Treasures for sure!
So Many Mojos To Be Had!
Thanks Tracy!
That Lebron 1 of 1 gone already? NOO!!
Don’t fret. We will find a fun, compelling way to get this card into the hands of a collector.
I’m a little surprised that you guy’s didn’t pull a rare Kyrie card like all the other products you’ve opened in the past months. Can’t wait for this comp and hope i’m lucky enough to score one of the great cards you guy’s have been revealing!
Awesome Cards!!!
roses are red
violets are blue
these looks cool
and ima bout to drool…
but at the current SRP of 100
i think i might pass…
and wait for a month..
before i bust
Not bad at all. Nice looking product. Great way to start a break with the King of Basketball
Lovin panini release!!! Mojos to everything and everyone in panini world were living. Love tracy 4eva!
So is it 5 card/box? Just because it is written 4 on the box, and saw it some online stores that it is 4 cards/box, and 3 auto and one rear insert /box.
The cards look really cool! Wish to open a box of one day!
Many boxes are delivering a bonus fifth card. Minimum is three autographs and one insert numbered to 25 or less per box.
oh ok, thanks for clarifying it!
i like the look of the Cards but i do not like the Sticker Autos,I wish the Delfino would be on Card.
Also when will a checklist of NT be available?
sadly, none of the autos pulled are worth more than $5
is these what you put into a high end product?
Kind of a dumb reply dont you think Ivan Li? I know its not the superstar auto’s we all love to pull. But come one man, a Rambis /3 and Gortat & Camby /10 will definitely get some good value on the secondary market. Plus you are kindly overlooking a Klay Thompson RC /5, LeBron 1 of 1, Rose and Melo /25 Anthony Davis RC /25 and Dominique /5.
Those are all cards that sell for WAY more than the $5 your saying.
Too bad the Signatures Film Bargnani was a redemption, would have loved to have seen that, i think it will be a great set to collect!
All of that for only $600… His point is not dumb, it’s a valid point for these high end products when it’s $25+ per card.
The real shame is the sticker autos. The on card autos look really nice.
Tracy you have the most amazing mojo when it comes to these teasers lol.
I remember Davis autos from Prizm, Kobe autos, and more lol.
When are you going to host box breaks? I’m sure many of us would support the hot hands lol 😛
Nonetheless, thanks for the teaser! Looking forward to the unwrapped episode (esp since it includes GS) and NT next week!
Awesome 1/1, but $105 seems like too much considering most boxes will look like these minus the Lebron.
Carlos Delfino as a Rocket?! GMAFB!
OMG.. wow
Lebron james 1/1
I wish I was the one who pulled that out.
LBJ my Idol (PC)
nice try, Joseph
Looks great! A really nice mix of rookies and vets, and the card design is slick!
Man…I shred through those photos! Great product!
What a monster pull with that LeBron 1/1, I know it’s just a base card parallel but still WOW! Let’s hope a reader of the Knight’s Lance gets it. Thanks Tracy!
Has any one pulled any auto or patches from the Kobe anthology?
Very nice, love those rounded edge Die-Cut cards!
love the new product, looks nice and on-card autos! Great product can’t wait till it comes up. May be my new fav product. Keep up the good work.
I know of a great home for that Klay Thompson—GO COUGS!!! Also the Marvin Williams and Chris Copeland autos are sick–cough, cough!!
