Following a strong week of steady previews and behind-the-scenes peeks that have raised anticipation to buzz-level proportions, Panini America's 2014-15 Excalibur Basketball is now safely on its way to Target stores across the country. In the coming days, the product will make its way to store shelves with its three distinct SKUs (Premium Box, Blaster Box and Gravity-Feed Packs) equipped to live up to the hype caused by such inclusions as Kaboom! and Crusade.

Just this morning, we managed to get our hands on two early boxes of the Premium version of the product, an eight-pack, 120-card thrill ride that delivered a slew of highlights. The gallery that follows documents the entertaining experience and should provide additional details on what Target-shopping collectors might expect from the highest level of Excalibur.
Enjoy the pack-by-pack breakdown and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for continued coverage of 2014-15 Excalibur Basketball.
It seems you continue to undermine Hobby Shops by releasing products like this to big box retail stores. Manufacturers used to proclaim that the Hobby Shops were the life blood of the hobby. Doesn’t look that way anymore.
The local hobby shop is — and will continue to be — a huge, vital part of what we do. We’ve released three Target-only NBA releases in 2014-15.
Is it going to be in all Targets by this end of this week?
Should start showing up in some locations on Monday/Tuesday.
Target australia bro we need some down under come on dudes stop messing with the previews lolz you killing us niceeeeee
Crusade with Spree!
Card with Rudy Gobert: this is auto or … what exactly is it? This guy can not write. 😉
I checked around this weekend in my area and they haven’t landed yet, looking forward to seeing them live soon. Thanks Tracy!
I may have missed it but I’m curious about the 3 price points for the 3 types of “delivery” options.
Most outlets will have the Premium at $130, the Blasters at $35; the Gravity-Feeds I believe will be $5.
Gravity-feed is $3.49 at my Target, while boxes have not yet arrived.
Like the cards (Crusades and Kaboom) in this product but for $130 those looked like some rough breaks.
Yikes…. the cost of a typical blaster box continues to climb….. almost all the blasters at Target are either $9.99 or $19.99. That is until Threads came along… and those blasters were suddenly $29.99. And now, $35?
Like the Crusades!
No decoys in the gravity feed packs, thus encouraging pack-searchers……come on Panini….you literally put more effort into those sound effects in your box breaking videos than these packs.
When are the boxes arriving? The gravity feed packs released 2 weeks ago, but I have not yet seen a single premium or blaster box…
