Teaser: Panini America Rips Early Boxes of 2014-15 Prizm Basketball, Hobby Jumbo

Hardcore hardcourt hobbyists are in for a basketball treat of Prizm proportions today with Panini America's release of 2014-15 Prizm Basketball. The new edition arrives in hobby shops across North America infused with vibrantly new colored Prizm parallels and two distinct configurations.

Hardcore hardcourt hobbyists are in for a basketball treat of Prizm proportions today with Panini America’s release of 2014-15 Prizm Basketball. The new edition arrives in hobby shops across North America infused with vibrantly new colored Prizm parallels and two distinct configurations.

The base hobby version of 2014-15 Prizm Basketball offers 20 five-card packs and the promise of one SKU-exclusive Prizm Rookie Autograph per box. The girthy Hobby Jumbo edition (15 cards per pack, 10 packs per box) will yield four Pulsar Prizm autographs per box. Both versions also offer an unrivaled assortment of Prizm parallels.

In the Teaser Gallery below we break one box of each and offer a pack-by-pack breakdown of the experience to give you a better idea of what to expect. Our base hobby box featured 20 Prizm parallels (including four numbered versions) and 15 Rookie Cards; our Hobby Jumbo box provided 19 RCs and a staggering 35 Prizms (with four autographs among our 10 numbered Prizms).

  1. The Jumbo Box would be the one to go here.
    But its still random so we don’t know what we get. The thrill of busting Hobby Boxes is so exciting and enticing. The Die cuts really is a nice touch and the pulsar prizm is a new addition. With today’s glorified rookie class as they are shaping up and getting the feel on the NBA game, pulling a Rookie auto card of any player,besides Parker and Wiggins will have optimism with the early season still on.

    Hoping that Immaculate comes next….

  2. I am a big fan of NBA history, but I feel like the “Legends” part of this set has gotten out of control. Looking at the checklist, it now up to 100 players.

  3. Beautiful product, just was hoping for more Lakers hits. Watched ten case breaks and only three Laker autos. But it looks brilliant and very good rookies
