Rather, we’re offering a preview of Panini’s favorite mineraloid — obsidian. To be more specific, the upcoming release of 2024 Panini Obsidian NFL.

This eye-popping release boasts a blend of gorgeously designed dark Optichrome aesthetics as well as multiple must-have futuristic inserts.

Similar to the rush a geologist gets when they make a once-in-a-lifetime discovery is the feeling collectors can find when they pull the ultra-rare Black Color Blast and Vitreous inserts. And for the first time, collectors will have the chance to secure the all-new Black Stained Glass insert.

The best part, though, aren’t the inserts themselves, but rather the superstar playmakers that can be found on those stunning cards.
