Just when I feared the work week would end without just one more slobber-knocking ensemble of images, along comes Panini America Production Manager Stephanie Carlson Friday afternoon to the rescue.
Just when I feared the work week would end without just one more slobber-knocking ensemble of images, along comes Panini America Production Manager Stephanie Carlson Friday afternoon to the rescue.
I intercepted Carlson, who was fresh from the packout vendor across town, as she made her way back to customer service with a jaw-dropping bounty of collection-making gems from 2010 Certified Football. So I did what any self-respecting collector would do: I wiped the drool from the corner of my mouth and proceeded to scan the cards so I could share them with you.
I think you’ll find, like I did, that 2010 Certified Football is nothing less than one of the most captivating football releases of the season. See for yourself by picking some up when it releases on Wednesday. Until then, check out the following gallery, which we present in all its glory for your viewing pleasure.
Wow love the look of these patches! Certified is always one of my favorite Panini sets.
Wow really can not wait for this product some really nice pieces …….I am particularly impressed with the Ernie Davis inclusion as I just watched the Ernie Davis story a short while back……..two thumbs up in my opinion……..
Those team logo jersey cards are pretty sweet looking.
I hope the Ochocinco is the exception to the 1/1 NFL Logos. The best thing about Certified every year is that they had the full Equipment logo in them. I’d hate to think you guys are using the same generic windows as the regular swatches and putting part of the shield in them like this Chad card. Tracy tell me it isn’t so….
Just talked to Football Brand Manager Carlos Torrez. The cards all utilize the same die-cut window but he confirmed that we’re going back to the old format for 2011.
Wow, this would be the 1st time in the history of 1/1 patches out of Certified that the Logo did not get its own window. Thats a huge let down and real disappointment. It was the only thing that really set Certified apart from all the other Panini NFL Logo patch sets like NT. Its also the reason that they sold for more as well. After waiting through a month of delays on this product I’m not so excited about my 2 master cases any more.
